According to NTA official guidelines only your JEE MAINs rank will be considered for the counseling of NIT and JEE ADVANCED rank will be considered only for the counseling of IITs,Hence your JEE advanced rank not be helpful in getting a seat in NIT colleges.

Dear student,

First of all congratulations if you have given jee advanced and jee mains.

But if you are thinking that your jee advanced ranks is helpful in securing a seat in nits, then sorry you can not get that.
Because jee advanced score and ranks are only applicable for getting seats in iits, and jee mains score are only applicable for getting seats in nits, iiits, and gftis and other institutions.

Now if you want to take admission in iits then you can only get in your basis of your jee advanced rank. But if you want seat in nits then your jee mains rank will be considered.
