The percentile and rank information are based on two factors for any particular session depends on two factors such as- difficulty level of the examination, and number of candidates appearing in that particular shift.

So, on a General average taking the total number of students equal to 10 lakh appearing for the JEE Mains examination if have scored around 94.2 percentile then your approximate rank would be equal to 55k.
