Dear Sir / Ma'm, the state government is planning to open five new medical colleges next year, sources said. They will come up at Diamond Harbour, Purulia, Rampurhat, Raigunj and Cooch Behar. However, till now there is no news of West Bengal providing 500 new seats this year. It might take some more time to get implemented.
