According to the information available in the TNEA Brochure practical and theory marks are considered for the candidates who have passed HSC (vocational stream). The marks scored in the specified subjects will be reduced to 200 (Related subject 100 marks, vocational subject including theory and practical 100 marks). So the rank is determined for the Vocational Stream candidates based on marks scored in theory and practical. And for the candidates who have passed HSC the rank is determined based on Marks scored in Mathematics, Physic and Chemistry reduced to 200 (Mathematics : 100, Physics + Chemistry : 100) in the qualifying examination.
