Hello Sathasivam Chinnasamy,

With category rank 1950 it is really hard to get Mechanical in NIT Trichy even though you have state quota. But there are good chances of getting other branches at NITT.

If you are keenly interested in only Mechanical Engineering, you can apply for other new NITs and you can surely get it.
