Hi Pooja.....

Government colleges in Delhi are the 1st priority of almost every medical aspirant and hence the cut off and so the minimum marks required to get into them is very high .

There are 2 situations :

1. If you have a Delhi domicile ,

General category :

Minimum marks =

  •  510 ( for NDMC medical college)
  •  520 for Lady Hardinge medical college ( only girls )
  •  530 - 540 for VMMC and UCMS .
  •  565 - 570 for MAMC .

 SC category :

Minimum marks : 344 .

 OBC category :

Minimum marks : 490–500.

2. If you don't have a Delhi domicile :

 General category :

Begin a career in Medical and Allied Sciences. Admissions Open for

Apply to Emversity Allied Health Sciences programs

Minimum marks :

  •  580 for NDMC medical college .
  •  585 - 590 for Lady Hardinge medical college .
  •  600 for VMMC and UCMS
  •  620 and above for MAMC .

SC category :

Minimum marks : 300 above .

 ST category :

Minimum marks : 200 and above .

 OBC category :

Minimum marks : 575 - 580 and above .

So its actually a tough go for outside Delhi general category aspirants.

The above mentioned marks are just an average of past 3 years and it can change depending upon various factors ( highest marks , lowest marks , qualifying marks , difficulty level etc)

Hope it helps you…..Thank U

the cut off marks for medical colleges keep depending on year to year and also on college to college basis but usually for the premier medical colleges like safdarjung medical college and Maulana Azad medical college you need to score in excess of 600 out of 720 in order to aim for them by the government quota and even follower colleges under the Delhi university or indraprastha university you need to score in excess of 550 out of 720 availing the 85% state quota and 20 marks will be escalated to 650 out of 720 and 600 out of 720 respectively if you are trying to him for them why the 15% all India quota for the premier colleges and other colleges of Delhi respectively

Hello.
As cut-off marks vary year to year depending upon number of students appear in the exam and the difficulty level of the exam so if you belong to general category and if you are applying under 85% state quota seats then you should score above 570 marks if you are applying under 15% all India quota seats then you should score above 630 marks to secure a seat in government medical College in Delhi.i hope this information helps you.
Thank you
