Ncert books are good for jee but the problem is NCERT is a bit difficult to understand as there are not many examples given in NCERT ,also many things are not there in a detailed manner which makes it difficult to understand concepts. One more thing is when it comes to competitive examinations like JEE mains and advance then you have to practice a lot of questions and a variety of questions and here NCERT lags as it doesn't have many numericals and mcqs .
