Hi Akshaya,

Well this year the paper of NEET was relatively easier than the previous year hence people are likely to get higher marks. Now, as more and more people will get higher marks than the previous year hence the cut-offs will also increase than that of the previous year. This year the passing marks in NEET are 15 marks higher than that of the last year.

Dear candidate,

As merit depends on the different variable factors like the no. Of students appeared for the exam, difficulty of the exam, seats available in the colleges and many more.

As this year the paper is bit easy compare to last year, so marks of Aspirant gets up and it directly increase the cutoff merit for the colleges.

here I am providing you with the link of our site portal to predict your college by just mentioning your information for the college and know you applicable colleges.

Akshaya, cutoff is generally dependant on several factors like the number of people giving the exam, difficulty of the exam, marks obtained by the students. If the marks scored by most of the students are high, then the cut off is generally high.
