See there was no percentage criteria to appear for JEE-Main in 2020 and also in 2021 but for 2022 it is not sure that whether this relaxation will remain active or not because it was only given because of the pandemic so we have to wait till the notification gets out for JEE-Main 2022 but even if the relaxation does not continues further then also you can at least appear for JEE-Main but yes you won't be eligible for admission to NITs/IIITs/CFTIs and also there are some criterion which you need to satisfy in order to appear for JEE-Main so let us discuss them.

1---   Age criteria   :- There is no age limit to appear in JEE-Main but note that there might be the age limit in any particular institution taking admission through JEE-Main score, so you should keep this thing in mind.

2---   Qualifying Examination   :- To be eligible for JEE-Main one should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects from any of the recognized central or state board or if you are appearing candidate then also you are eligible.

3---   Year of qualification   :- For JEE-Main 2021 only those candidates who have passed Class 12 / equivalent examination in 2019, 2020 or 2021; or those who are appearing in Class 12th / equivalent examination in 2021, are eligible to appear.

So if you follow all above criterion then you are definitely eligible for JEE-Main.
