NEET is the entrance examination for admission to Medical, Dental, Ayush and Veterinary courses across India, In States like Maharashtra, NEET is the entrance exam for admission to Maharashtra. So if you belong to Maharashtra, then the admission to Government and Private BPT Colleges is through NEET score alone. This is also applicable for Management Quota seats. Those seats that remain unfilled after all the rounds of Counselling are over, are filled through Direct admission process.

NEET UG is not compulsory to get admission into bpt course. You can get admission based on the entrance exam conducted by the Colleges, providing the course. You must have passed class 12th with minimum 50% marks in PCB Subject combination form a recognised Board of education, to be eligible for the course.
