National Institute of Technology Hamirpur is a public technical university located in Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, India.

It is one of the thirty one National Institutes of Technology established, administered and funded by MHRD .

Located in Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh , NIT Hamirpur enjoys a in the picturesque surrounding and facing snow clad Dhauladhar Mountain ranges.

Located in the laps of mountain the campus gives a life changes experience with the breathtaking view

The food which is served in the hostel mess is good or decent. When it compares to another NITs

Different day you will get different food according to the Menu which is very delicious and mouthwatering.

Some of the dishes which i list from the menu are

chilly paneer, soya chaap, chole bhature, pulao, rajma, chole, dal makhni, mix veg. etc depending on the menu.

So, may it possible that with the start of new session and batch they will change the menu.

But the foods are just awesome .

However you can also eat outside from the hostel  like  at verka , juice bar , nescafe , ICH .

and you can eat and enjoy in night also at nescafe .

you can even go outside campus as well !

You have lots of things to explore in your college days so be prepare for that.

This is a bit difficult to predict the marks/rank required in JEE mains to get a seat as cut off  keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the jee main examination , number of seats available for the branch you want etc.

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then ,

In round 6 of josaa counselling 2020 , 15750 rank was the closing rank for gender neutral for general category for other state in NIT Hamirpur Electronics and Communication Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology)

I hope you are doing good. As per your query , I would glad to aware you about fascinating facts about NIT hamirpur.  Its ranks 31st position among all NITS . Coding culture of enginerring department is very awesome . Teachers are very qualified with atleast doctorate in their field . The placment scenario is also very good with an average package of 6-7lakhs per annum . The highest package went around 42lakhs

If you will have rank more than or equivalent to Jee main cut off for NIT Harimpur , you will have chances of admission.

Cutoff changes every year and depends upon factors like availibility of seats, previous year's cut off etc.

2020 cut off NIT Harimpur ,(home state)  chemical engineering for general category male was rank 82168, female it was 131912

For computer science engineering, for male -20494, female candidate - 37858
