B.‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Tech is a full-time undergraduate degree programme which lasts for 4 years and is offered by the university. The major areas of B.Tech at HPTU Hamirpur are computer science engineering, automobile engineering, civil engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and communication engineering, information technology, mechanical engineering and textile ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌engineering.

HPTU B.Tech Admission Process 2026

• Candidates‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ must first satisfy the eligibility criteria.

• The qualifying mark for JEE Main is 15%, and for HPCET it is 20%.

B.Pharma/B.‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Pharma Ayurveda is a four-year full-time programme at Himachal Pradesh Technical University. The university offers a full-time B.Sc. in Hotel Management and Catering Technology/B.H.M., a three-year programme.

HPTU UG Admission Process 2026

• To‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ begin with, applicants should satisfy the eligibility conditions and take HPCET.
• HPCET qualifying percentage is 20%.
• After that, they need to complete the HPTU Hamirpur application form.

HPTU M.Tech Admission Process 2026

• Initially,‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ individuals should satisfy the eligibility requirements of the Himachal Pradesh Technical University.
• Next, candidates must take GATE or HPCET examinations.

M.Pharma is a two-year full-time postgraduate programme offered by HPTU Hamirpur. The programme is offered in the Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Assurance and Pharmaceutics streams. 

HPTU M.Pharma Admission Process 2026

• Individuals must meet the eligibility criteria of Himachal Pradesh Technical University.
• Candidates are required to appear for GATE or HPCET examinations.
• In short, a person should have a valid GATE score. The minimum benchmark for HPCET is 20%.
• Moreover, candidates shall fill in the HPTU application form.
• Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the merit score of  GATE/HPCET/B.E.
• Fifth, the sharing of the seats will be done on the basis of the GATE scores, and if there are any seats left after the GATE, those seats will be given based on HPCET scores, and if there are still seats left, then the B.E./B. Tech scores will be considered.

MBA/MBA Tourism and Hospitality is a two-year full-time postgraduate programme by the University of Technology, Himachal Pradesh. The essential eligibility requirement for the programme is that a candidate should have secured at least 50% marks in graduation in any stream.

HPTU MBA Admission Process 2026

• Firstly,‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ you should be eligible. Then take a test from CAT/MAT/CMAT/HPCET and get the minimum required marks. 
• The minimum required mark for the entrance test at the national level is 10%, and for HPCET, it is 20%. 
• Afterward, complete the university application form. 
• Hamirpur HPTU will select the candidates based on the merit scores of CAT/MAT/CMAT/HPCET/graduation. 
• The seats will be filled on the basis of the scores of the national level entrance test first, next on the basis of HPCET scores and if the seats still remain vacant, then on the basis of the marks of the qualifying exam.
•  After the candidates have been selected, they will need to attend university counselling.

M.C.A.‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ is a three-year postgraduate programme offered by Himachal Pradesh Technical University. M.Sc. is a two-year duration course. The university offers a full-time course. The course is divided into semesters and the duration of each semester is six months.

HPTU MCA Admission Process 2026

• Meet‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ the HPTU Hamirpur eligibility criteria.
• Afterward, participate in HPCET and obtain the qualifying marks (20%).
