The HPTU Hamirpur placement cell helps in conducting placement of the final year students. Himachal Pradesh Technical University placement is conducted every year. The university placement may be conducted on-campus or off-campus. For on-campus placement, several companies are invited for the recruitment of the candidates. Before the placement of the candidates, the HPTU Hamirpur placement cell conducts various activities to prepare the candidates. The cell conducts activities like workshops, industrial visits, guest lectures, group discussions, mock interviews, etc. Himachal Pradesh Technical University placement cell also conducts career counselling for the students.

Himachal Pradesh Technical University Placement Process

Students need to register on the placement cell portal.
All information related to placement is communicated to the students through the placement portal.
Companies are invited to the campus for the recruitment of the candidates and pre-placement talk is initiated.
Interested companies reply back with their company details, job prospects and salary packages.
After that, students go through the interview process of the companies, which may involve aptitude tests, group discussions, and interview, etc.
Selected candidates are informed through the HPTU Hamirpur placement cell.
