College Infrastructure

Yes Shri Shankaracharya Group of Institutions have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Campus has excellent WiFi, and laboratories, libraries, sports cebtres and hostels are well maintained. The living spaces clean and the food provided in canteen as well as in mess are hygienic.

Academics

I m currently pursuing BTech in Electrical Branch, the quality if teaching is very good. Yes, our curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field of research and training. Yes studing in such an excellent campus makes one job-ready.

Placements

The quality of placements at Shri Shankaracharya Group of Institutions is really very awesome. Companies like Capgemini, Byjus, IBM, TATA Consultancy Services, ITC etc come to recruit students on the basis of their overall performances. Avg salary offered is upto 4-8 lacks per annum. College is supportive in placement process.

Value-for-money

Yes i feel I'm getting my money's worth studying here. Yet I'm in 3rd sem i feel really good. Faculties are very cooperative and they help in every aspects. It costs approximately 36-38k per sem.

Campus Life

College campus is besr students engage in various activities such as SAMVID annual fest which takes place each year in the month of February, students take part in drama, dance competitions, song competition and many more playable events. The students teachers and support staffs are very friendly and helping in nature. Just in front of the college campus there's hospital of Shri Shankaracharya so it can handle emergencies in case.

Overall i would like to conclude that the whole campus life in Shri Shankaracharya Group of Institutions is Excellent.

The college has a huge campus and many other courses also included in it , its a campus with a happenings and the only institute in chhatttisgarh which is known for its genuine and no unnecessary rules

The college believe in practical learning quality of teaching is awesome and faculties are supportive always ready to help , you can ask your doubts anytime also they give career guidance ,curriculum is as per university guidlines

For Mba placements are very nice companies like cognizant , Hdfc bank , max lifeinsurance and many more companies do come average placements is 3.5 lakhs and highest is 9 lakhs the placement process is easy

Value-for-money

yes its value for money because you won't get better MBA than anywhere in Chhattisgarh with placements

The institute organises event SAMVID which is known as the best event in entire Chhattisgarh therefore you can guess campus life is chill and interactive

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is very well designed and has been maintained quite well and it's kept neat and clean.laboratories are fine too and some are well equipped .WiFi was available in whole campus. The library system is very nice .

Academics

There are few very nice teachers to guide and depart knowledge.Labouratories are fine too. But academically more of theoritical approach was there rather than practical.The syllabus also needs an uptadation.

Placements

Placement opportunities are bit low.Companies do visit the campus but fewer companies were their which can offer a real exposure and a good start to ones new working phase of life.Through the TNP department helps a lot to make you placement ready and try outside as well.

Value-for-money

Overall it's been a nice experience as a undergraduate engineering student.The fees is very affordable than many other institute throughout the country and still was very decent experience and it's a totally value for money.

Campus Life

It's a fun and learning experience.Leart a lot not only as per academic perspective but also life lessons.Teachers were through out there with us for doubts or for other extra knowledge apart from syllabus.

Anything Else

Overall it's one of the most cherished time of one's life as it's the big change for ones life from being a student to being ready to be working individual it's quite a journey and it was a nice experience studying here.

Every department has its separate building. With its own advanced laboratories. The campus has separate building for library which student calls it as central library. Campus has hostel, bank, canteen and stationary facilities.

Academics

I am currently pursuing engineering in information technology. The faculty are good with professional teaching skills and they also have great interaction with their student. The Institution also has its own portal for faculties and student interaction.

Placements

Placement are awesome in comparison to state level colleges. Companies like TCS, Capgemini, Byjus, justdial, etc comes to the campus with highest package of 9 lacs. Average salary basically comes around 3.5 to 4 lacs.

Value-for-money

It costs around 35,000 per semester which is pretty good for this level college. And yes, its money's worth

Campus Life

Campus life is very awesome. Every year our college organize its own cultural fest which is called as "Samvid" for 2 or 3 days. In this event we organise different activities with special guest for each nights.

Anything Else

This is the best private college in Chhattisgarh. Every its students second choice after bit durg. But, here is the crack our college has better facilities for placements, academics, etc as compared to bit durg

The Infrastructure is quite good there and classrooms , labs are cleans as well. All the required equipments are available for each and every student. Computers labs are well equipped with high tech computers and they have a high speed LAN connection available with them.

Academics

I am studying Information Technology and quality of faculties is pretty good. They are very well updated about the current trends and latest technologies going around the world. The curriculum is up to date and helps you make job ready.

Placements

Quality of placements is very good especially in Computer Science and Information Technology department. Most of the students gets placed with very decent packages and college boast of a near perfect placement record.

It's overall good in comparison to other colleges in chhatisgarh. Yes, my college provide all the necessary facilities and equipments which are required to have collegein every. college have their own Wi-Fi on the use to have well maintained classrooms celebrities libraries in sports centres.

Teacher's are very supportive. I am pursuing mechanical engineering I was interested towards automobile from my childhood that's why I am passing this branch. currently I am in 3rd year till now I found that teachers are very supportive and they used to give every notes and used to teach everything which are in requirement to have in.

Placements

Its average. As i ask ask to my senior I think the placement in our college is average and the salary packages also average as compared to every college but till now I haven't went to 4th year so I didn't face the placement. So I can't tell you in detail about the placement.

Infrastructure is not well and the condition of college is very bad and there is lack of facility like sports and curriculum activities. No maintenance of garden and college. The classroom is also too old.

Academics

Academic is well and average the teacher teaches 75 percent course and upto certain limit education is well. It should be based on quality learning rather than quantity learning. CT were taken twice in a semester.

Placements

Placement is not at all for mechanical engineers sometimes company comes but take fews and the job are not at secures. Therefore it is advisable to prepare for government exams & Learn various softwares.

This college provides different buildings for different courses . And also it have central library which is more than sufficient for reading. New construction is going on for upcoming batches so the fresher will be seeing the new organized building . Classrooms are well equipped with projectors and they maintain it very well. Laboratories have good equipment along with presentations . And the hostel hygiene is not good because my friends were complaining for this .

Academics

I am pursuing mechanical engineering from this college and the faculties are outstanding because they have years of experience. Faculty members are so nice and as they teach with practical examples. Mechanical faculties are very good.

Placements

Quality of placement is outstanding . previous year percentage was approx 80%.Highest salary package was 8 lakhs and it was from computer science branch. Average salary was 3lakhs.And yes college is very supportive for this placements

Value-for-money

My course cost 72000 per year which is reasonable .I feel spending this amount can be worth . Because at this cost they are providing you with placement and good faculties. I feel i am getting worth for my amount.

Its best feature include various competition and awesome canteen. But worse feature is that ,it is very crowded and so much vehicles make it worst.staff members are so supportive. our college also have temple

The college houses great infrastructure in terms of classrooms, and better equipped labs if compared to other private engineering colleges of the state. Extra-curricular facilities are also nice, with a overall great annual fest. Faculties are good in some departments, but also bad in others. It all depends on which branch you study. The worst thing is no guaranteed placement, as there is no certainty if companies will visit for campus reruitment or not. Only the mass recruiters offering low packages visit every year.

Its very difficult to quote this about your alma mater. But the fact is all the promises made only led to unfulfilled dreams. The infrastructure is above average but the faculties which are the backbone of department are not expert in the areas. I had joined this college in 2008 in CSE branch because of its name that time. It was good up to 2009. as soon as they opened many colleges . Then I found that the faculty is average. No special soft-skill training is given. Very limited opportunity was given. No lab or limited lab session. Project work guidance was also very poor . I do not recommend this college if you have good marks.

SSGI is a good place to be in.It promotes holistic development of the student. It provides u with an ocean of opportunities to grow,to develop, to enhance. Nice environment is maintained inside the classroom.Teachers promote a two way means of communication.They instinct you to ask questions.As they believe without any questions, doubts etc. students can't grow.They clear your doubts in a best possible way. The senior-junior relations in the campus is literally good.They are always ready to help.we all organize our events with a great enthusiasm.We can ask for any kind of help from them and am sure they won't deny for it. The members of the council are always approachble.They are doing a good job. All n all there is always an opportunity to create something new. Our campus is full of wifi .and the best thing in our college is we have edrp system in which we can see our attendence ,marks and can you give feedback to tea marks and and can you give feedback to our faculties and can directly contact with our director about any problems related to our studies and surroundings. Teachers are very much supportive and therefore students donot need to hesitate in asking any type of questions. Many co-curricular activities are conducted in which students actively participate. A calm and peaceful environment for studies is provided by the institute.

The environment is nice and the college is under the CSVTU university which conducts the university exams here and just looks after it.The environment is also and good.Faculty is ok.Hostel facility is also good and easy available.College fees is also available at an affordable amount for everyone.Admission is based in the test and the academic session normally starts here in the month of august.Culutural programmes are also held but they are very less in number and sports facilities is also not upto mark.College has one canteen also.

Shri Shankaracharya Technical campus...first thing comes to mind is "awesome place to learn new things".In Bhilai,it is 2nd top most college that is preferred by many students and their parents because of good academic results and its highlighted infrastructure(huge number of labs)with a slight devotional touch(Temple in campus).Faculties are really cool and know how to teach students in interesting way.Coming to placements there are many companies that come to the campus with good job offerings.College life in Shankara is the best thing....actually it will always in the best part of memory because of its free environment of learning and fun.Students here are very friendly and of helping nature,Yes if you are in search of a great gang to hangout...then, you will definitely get one here.Hostel life is also very good,some of my friends who lives in hostel said that food(important factor) is better than any other hostel nearby.

I am graduated from this college in 2015 and this helped me alot to acquire the technical skills which I am possesing right now. The faculties are quite supportive and ready to help at any momement. They schedule is bit rigorous but ultimetely helps for your overall development. It has got well equipped labs with all the amenities required by a student. For co-curricular the collage is fairly good and conducts even some national level events too. As a whole I would say, it provides a good platform to learn and to enjoy too.

"Gyanadeva Tu Kaivalyam" this means only through knowledge one attains liberation. It is the logo of our college. This college includes courses of Bachelors of Engg., Masters of Engg., BCA, MCA, MBA. The streams available for B.E. are EEE, EE, ETC, IT, CS, E&I, Civil, Mech. These streams are enough in number for a good college. The infrastructure of the college is good. There are 5 buildings on the college campus. 1 includes the administrative works and library. WiFi facility is provided 24*7. Central Library and Digital Library is provided in working hours for the students. As per their convenience, they can issue books or search for any of the courses online. 63 labs with 3000 systems are available in different branches. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and also with higher degrees. Separate boys and girls hostel with WiFi facility is available. As the college name suggests the campus is technically very good. Thumb print attendance for teachers and students have been started. For complete information of a student, EDRP is provided with separate IDs per student. From EDRP guardians can collect all the information about their children. Every year a national level events are organised which includes technical as well as cultural activities. At last proud to become an engineer from this college.

The Shri Shankaracharya College of Engineering and Technology (SSCET) is named after Adi Shankaracharya. The college was established in 1999 to provide undergraduate and postgraduate education in engineering and technology. It is managed by the Shri Gangajali Education Society (Shri Shankaracharya Group of Institutions).Shankaracharya college is the best college in Chhattisgarh.It has a wonderful campus with canteen, gym, hostel facilities.Teachers are well experienced and they are helpful in every manner.college is good.The campus has a 21,000 square metre built up area (Phase I). It has classrooms and tutorial rooms with audio and video systems teaching tools, laboratories, workshops, and an internet facility. The library has books, journals and CD-ROMS and a computer center. It can accommodate 450 readers at a time. Cafeteria, ATM, medical center, bookstore, telephone kiosks, recreation center, gymkhana, and indoor and outdoor games facilities. The picturesque Laliteshwar Temple adds peace and tranquility to the surroundings.

please don't take admission in this college becoz it is the very poor college it is like a hell on the earth the faculty of this college is very bad they cant even pronounce English correctly and the students of this college will belong to poor families so they cant mix with us they are like irritable so BEWARE from this college don't spoil the precious 4 years of your in this bad college .
