Academics
Academics here are a mixed bag honestly. Some professors are really knowledgeable and make classes worth attending, but others just read off slides without much engagement. The syllabus is somewhat updated but implementation lags behind. Self-study and online courses become necessary to stay competitive in the real world.
College Infra
The campus is massive and honestly quite beautiful when you first arrive. Buildings are well-constructed and labs have decent equipment. However, maintenance can be inconsistent — some facilities look great while others feel neglected. The library is good but gets extremely crowded during exams.
Campus Life
This is honestly where KIIT shines the most for me. The diversity of students from all over the country makes socializing incredibly enriching. Fests are lively and well-organized. Clubs cover almost every interest from coding to dance to entrepreneurship. The social experience here is genuinely something I cherish deeply.
Placements
Placements are genuinely strong for CSE students, with several top MNCs visiting every year. But if you are from a non-IT branch, the scenario is noticeably different and you will have to work much harder independently. CGPA matters a lot here, so academics cannot be completely ignored either.
Value For Money
Honestly the fees hit hard. It is one of the more expensive private universities and not everyone feels they get full value from it. If you actively participate in clubs, hackathons, and internships, the investment starts making sense. But passively sitting through four years will leave you questioning every rupee spent.

The academic approach here is more skill-oriented than purely theoretical, which I genuinely appreciate. Faculty members are mostly supportive and industry-aware. The curriculum tries to align with real-world demands, though consistency in teaching quality varies across departments and semesters.
College Infra
Rungta International Skills University has a reasonably well-built campus with dedicated skill labs and classrooms. The practical training centers are a standout feature. Basic amenities are in place, though some areas still feel like they're being developed and upgraded gradually.
Campus Life
Campus life is modest but engaging. There are cultural events, technical competitions, and skill development workshops organized throughout the year. The student community is friendly and collaborative. It may not have the grand fest culture of bigger universities, but there's a genuine sense of community here.
Placements
Placements are still growing since the university is relatively new. Some companies do visit for recruitment, especially in technical and vocational fields. The academic environment of Rungta College of Engineering and Technology is well organized and adheres to the academic curriculum designed by the affiliated university. The faculties are good and helpful, especially for the compulsory subjects. They can always be accessed in the lab and the doubt-clearing sessions. Internal tests, assignments, and semester tests keep the students consistently busy with their studies. The teaching style of faculty members is only theoretical, and the students have to rely on self-study, website learning, and internships to get practical knowledge and industry training. The academic standards of the institute are good and suitable only for well-disciplined students.

The facilities in Rungta College of Engineering and Technology in Bhilai can be described as excellent. The college campus is large and green. The campus has spacious classrooms equipped with appropriate technology. The campus also has well-equipped lab facilities. The library is large and contains over 1 lakh books and online journals. The campus is also equipped with separate hostels for boys and girls, sports complexes, gymnasiums, cafeterias, Wi-Fi connectivity, auditoriums, emergency medical facilities, etc. The infrastructure is excellent and is very beneficial to the students.
