    Bhilai Institute of Technology, Durg (BIT Durg), a private institute, was established in 1986 and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).     On the campus of Bhilai Institute of Technology, Durg, students and faculty have access to a variety of facilities. Boys and girls have separate hostels at the college. It has a library on campus that houses books, periodicals, online periodicals, databases, back volumes, CDs/DVDs, project reports, audio/video cassettes, and a question bank. All of the blocks are linked by a highly secure network that connects over 1,000 PCs to the internet via broadband connections. The institute has a bank and an ATM, which allows for transactions. A stationary shop is also available at BIT Durg. Aside from stationery, the store also sells snacks, biscuits, and other foods.     BIT Durg Admissions

    The institute offers admissions to UG, PG and Ph.D programmes. Candidates seeking admission to BIT Durg's B.E/B.Tech programmes should take the CG PET/JEE Main. Shortlisted candidates have to take part in the counselling process. The All India Management Association (AIMA) conducts the MAT entrance exam, which is used to determine admission to the M.B.A. Candidates must then complete a Writing Ability Test (WAT), a group discussion, and a personal interview as part of the MAT selection process. The CMAT/MAT/CAT/ATMA scores are also accepted for BIT Durg M.B.A admission. Interested candidates for M.B.A Part-Time admission must fill out an application form found on the institute's website, after which a personal interview-cum-interview will be conducted to shortlist candidates. Admission to the M.C.A programme at BIT Durg is based on candidates score in NIMCET/ CG Pre MCA entrance exam. Following that, candidates must attend a counselling session. Candidates are admitted to M.Tech programmes based on their GATE exam scores. The Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Chhattisgarh, will then conduct Central Online Counseling for candidates.
