Placements are average. Only a few top students get placed in reputed companies. Most companies offer average salary packages. The placement cell tries to help, but more industry connections and training programs are needed.

The placements are very disappointing. Very few companies visit to our college, and the salary packages are low. The placement process lacks proper support, making it difficult for students to secure good jobs.

Placement opportunities are not great. Only a few reputed companies visit to the campus and the average salary packages are low. Many students struggle to find jobs through the college and they have to apply for off campus.

RCET Bhilai for mining engineering:

Approved and Affiliated

college is AICTE approved and affiliated with CSVTU, Bhilai.

Good placement support

active placement cell with support for all branches.
big companies like TCS, Wipro, Amazon visit for placements.

Industrial location

located in Bhilai, which is an industrial area good for mining-related internships and exposure.

Affordable fees

lower fees compared to many private colleges.

Decent infrastructure

campus has modern labs, library, and hostel facilities.
hostel and canteen are average but manageable.

Supportive faculty

most students find the teachers helpful and experienced.

Things to keep in mind:

mining is a specialized branch

not as many job openings as in Computer Science or Electronics.
jobs are often in field work, mines, or industrial areas.

Placement for mining may vary

while CS/IT get higher packages, mining jobs may offer lower starting salaries.

Location matters

good for students from Chhattisgarh or nearby, but may not suit everyone.
