Colleges

• Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Arts/Sciences are eligible for admission to the program.
• Candidates with at least 55% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology with a specialization in Science and Mathematics are eligible for admission to the two-year B.Ed., degree program. All the B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech., graduates irrespective of their Branch in Engineering are eligible to study either Mathematics or Physical Science as Pedagogy of a School Subject. Apart from the B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech., graduates in Computer Science related branches and Bio-Technology related branches are also eligible to study Computer Science and Biological Science as Pedagogy of a School Subject respectively.

The Candidates should have passed the U.G.Degree Examination in the 10+2+3 stream, with the same main subjects in part III, for which he/she is seeking admission in the B.Ed.course. The Minimum marks required for each category is given below.

Community/Category - Minimum Marks

• OC - 50%
• BC - 45%
• MBC/DCN - 43%
• SC/ST - 40%

In the case of physically and visually challenged candidates, a minimum pass in the degree is required

Candidates with P.G.Qualification alone will be considered for Economics, Commerce, and Home Science.

To Consider for P.G.qualified candidates, the candidate should have passed the UG in the same major subject.
