Loyola College of Education, Chennai has come in to existence in the year 2007 is situated at the heart of Chennai city, Tamil Nadu which is the educational capital of South India. This mixed institution is recognised by the University of Madras and got the membership of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Having the recognition of National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Loyola College of Education composes quality education in the concerned field of teaching. A total intake capacity of the college is 282 while faculty members for teaching are just twenty one in number thus providing an adequate students faculty ratio for individual instructions and counselling.

Loyola College of Education is very much concerned about the basic needs of its students with emphasis on learning needs. To support the students education needs, the campus is fitted with modern facilities for the institution. The Institution provides wireless internet throughout its compound to allow easy access to any information the students may require from the internet.
