(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;
(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together; and The Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority.
Or
(ii) Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only);
(2) All India Candidature Candidates, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates.
(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together; and should obtain non zero positive score in JEE Main Paper I or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority. However preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in JEE (Main) Paper I over the candidates who obtained non zero score in CET.
(3) NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National.
(i) The candidate should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 50 % marks in the above subjects taken together;
(ii) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.
(B) Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry) Admission, For Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate and All India Candidature Candidate.
(ii) Passed Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology from an All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent;
(ii) Passed B.Sc. Degree from a University Grants Commission (UGC) or Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) and passed HSC with Mathematics as a subject:
Provided that students belonging to this category shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics/ Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year Engineering Program along with second year subjects.
(iii) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.
Candidates appearing for the VITEEE should have secured an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate).
The average marks obtained in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology (PCM/PCB) in +2 (or its equivalent) put together should be 50% for the following categories:
Candidates belonging to SC/ST:
Fill in the proforma as given in Annexure III and have it attested by a competent authority (The list of authorities empowered for the same is given in Annexure III).
For candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura. Fill in the CERTIFICATE TO PROVE NATIVITY (proforma given in Annexure III).
These documents should be produced at the time of counseling, failing which they will not be considered for admission.
In case, the mark statement is not produced by the candidates at the time of admission, the decision of the Management regarding his/her eligibility and admission to the programme shall be final.
Even though the admission is done as per the VITEEE ranking, the candidate has to fulfill the eligibility norms mentioned.
Candidates who have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are eligible for all the B.Tech. Degree Programmes.
Candidates who have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are eligible for B.Tech. Bioengineering and B.Tech. Biotechnology programmes. They are also eligible for ECE with specialization in Biomedical Engineering, B.Tech. Computer Science and Engg (Spec.in Bioinformatics) but after joining, registering for Mathematics as bridge course is mandatory.
Age Limit:
Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1 st July are eligible to apply for VITEEE. The date of birth as recorded in the High School / SSC / X Certificate will be considered authentic. Candidates should produce this certificate in original as proof of their age at the time of counseling, failing which, they will be disqualified. Candidates must have completed the age of 17 years as on 1st July of the admission year.
