Transmedia storytelling is the concept of creating and designing stories for the purpose of advertising, marketing, and the entertainment industry. A creative story helps the companies to increase sales and reliability among the potential customers. With the advancement in technology the ways of promoting a product or reaching the customers are becoming easier. The Transmedia Storytelling: Narrative worlds, emerging technologies, and global audiences is the initiative by the UNSW Sydney for the candidates who wish to grasp the effective skills of transmedia storytelling.
Transmedia Storytelling: Narrative worlds, emerging technologies, and global audiences training are available on the online learning platform Coursera. The candidates will learn about designing and sharing compelling stories that can be used on different platforms. The candidate shall be introduced to varied themes to write stories like interactive web experiences, social media communities, mobile devices, theme parks, and even augmented and virtual reality. This is an online course with flexible deadlines of 3 weeks duration. The candidates will be exposed to different assignments, reading material, and videos. By the end of the course, the candidates will receive Transmedia Storytelling: Narrative worlds, emerging technologies, and global audiences certification by UNSW Sydney and Coursera.
