How get direct admission in btech

Abhishek 12th Jul, 2024

Hi there,

There is no such provision of getting any direct admission in btech. You have to pass your 12th exam with  an overall good percentage.

After that you can opt to give jee mains or state level entrance examination to get admission in the government colleges which will be decided on the basis of your rank achieved in the examination and participation in the counselling.

So you have to give at least any one entrance examination to pursue btech from any colleges.

However you can get admission in some of the private colleges on the basis of your class 12th marks and your performance in the interview selection process if there is any. However even all private colleges do not give direct admission in btech.

Hope this resolves your query.

With 192 marks you have qualified neet and you may have chances of getting bsc nursing but which college you will get depends upon neet cut off. Cut iff keeps changing every year anc depends upon certain factors such as number of candidates appeared in exam,  Toughness level of exam and previous year's cut off etc.

You may try in following colleges

Jawaharlal nehru Institute,  puducherry

King George college, Lucknow

My NEET score is 192 so can I selected for BSC nursing college. for gen-EWS. PLEASE REPLY

kumardurgesh1802 19th Sep, 2024

Hello student,

With a NEET score of 192 and being in the General-EWS category, your chances of getting admission to a B.Sc. Nursing program in government colleges may be limited, as the cutoffs for government nursing colleges tend to be higher, especially for the general category.

However, you still have a chance in some private or semi-government colleges offering B.Sc. Nursing, as their cutoffs tend to be lower compared to government institutions. It would be best to look into state-specific nursing admissions as cutoffs vary by state and institution.

Check the counseling process in your state for B.Sc. Nursing and apply accordingly.

I would recommend you to use NEET college predictor tool by Careers360 to get the list of possible colleges you can get with your rank.

My NEET score was 410 and PCB 48% from the general category. If I add PCB English, then it was 50%. Can I get an MBBS or BAMS in or any private college?

kumardurgesh1802 4th Oct, 2024

Hello student,

With a NEET score of 410 and a PCB percentage of 48% (general category), your chances of securing an MBBS seat in government medical colleges are slim. The minimum PCB percentage required for eligibility in most medical entrance exams, including NEET, is 50% for the general category . However, since your total with English included reaches 50% , you meet the eligibility criteria for NEET.

For MBBS , you might have a chance in private medical colleges , but the cutoff for MBBS in private institutions also tends to be higher, especially for general category candidates. You can explore management quota seats or colleges with relatively lower cutoffs.

For BAMS , your NEET score gives you a better chance of securing a seat in private Ayurvedic colleges . Many private BAMS colleges have lower cutoffs, so you may have a fair shot at admission depending on the state and college.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

payment fees for sc cast without neet

kumardurgesh1802 30th Dec, 2024

Hello Rohini,

In most cases, NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is mandatory for admission to medical courses, including BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery). However, if you are seeking admission without NEET, some private colleges or institutions may offer alternative admission criteria, but these cases are rare.

For SC category candidates, the fee structure in medical colleges may vary based on the institution (government or private). Government colleges typically have lower fees, especially under the reserved category, while private institutions may have higher fees even with reservation.

It's important to check specific colleges or universities for details on their admission process and fee structure, especially regarding SC category admissions without NEET.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

what is mean neurology. how would I take the scores of after MBPS or before MBBS

Nitin Kumar 22nd Jun, 2024

Neurology is the branch of medicine that deals with the nervous system. Here's a breakdown:

  • Nervous System: This complex network of nerves and nerve cells controls everything you think, feel, and do, from simple reflexes to complex emotions. It includes the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves.

  • Neurology Focuses on: Neurologists diagnose and treat disorders of the nervous system, including:
    • Stroke
    • Epilepsy
    • Alzheimer's Disease
    • Parkinson's Disease
    • Multiple Sclerosis
    • Migraines
    • Brain tumors
    • Spinal cord injuries
    • Infections of the nervous system

    • During MBBS:

Your medical school curriculum will likely include dedicated modules or courses on neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and neurological disorders. You might have exams or assessments within these courses to test your knowledge.

Some medical schools might incorporate neurology topics into comprehensive exams covering various medical disciplines.

    • After MBBS:

There is no single "neurology score" after MBBS. However, if you pursue specialization in Neurology, there would be specific exams you'd need to pass to become a certified neurologist. This typically involves residency programs or fellowship training in neurology, with evaluations throughout the program.

      I hope it helps!

can i get MIT WPU pune with 27 percentile in JEE Mains and 85 percentage in 12th board? (general category boy candidate)

Abhishek 12th Jul, 2024

Hi ,

It is very less certain that you can get admission in mit wpu and even any other colleges with such a low percentile in the jee mains exam. Also being a general boy also do not provide you some scope of getting admission in the colleges.

In my opinion you should statrt preparing for the further examinations and focus on your studies. Even if you get an admission in such a low percentile , I think the college might be either private or some other non reputed colleges. So instead of pursuing your degree from such an institution it is beneficial  for you to take a drop and prepare for the further examinations and try to get admission in some reputed institutions in the upcoming year.

Also, if you want to check that if you might get any college at this percentile then you can check our college predictor which gives the list of colleges which you can get at this rank. The link is mentioned below:

If I have recieved a seat in some round of josaa , and i keep floating it till last round and no other seat is alloted and i dont want to join that iit now , what steps to follow

Abhishek 13th Jul, 2024

Hi there,

You should first know about the options you  are choosing while choosing a seat during the counselling.

When you choose a seat with floating option then it says that if a seat is assigned to you in the future rounds better than your current seat then it will automatically update it. However till the last round if you do not receive any seat further, then to cancel the present alloted seat you have to folllow some procedures.

You do not need to make any payments to the counselling authority and also you do not report to the institute. reporting at the institute gives a message that you want to join.

So simply if you do not want to join the alloted institute then you do not need to make any further payment and also not report to the concerned institute.

Hope this resolves your query.
