Hello Sneha,
You have studied your 10+2 from Tamil Nadu State board and now you want to prepare for JEE Mains.
The eligibility criteria for writing JEE Mains is that you should have passed or must be appearing in class 12 final exams. This means that the questions coming in JEE Mains would be of 10+2 level. So if a student is preparing for his class 12th final exams, he/she indirectly also prepares for JEE Mains exam. The questions that come in JEE Mains are concept based and it's application and you must have a clear concept of physics, chemistry, and mathematics if you are going to appear in this exam.
By this time your State Board exams would have been over and for that you must have studied hard.
In physics and mathematics I would suggest you to quickly just brush up your concepts once again and then try solving questions from the previous year question papers. The chapters over which you have a good command, solve the questions from those chapters first. This will give you confidence. After that move towards the chapters which are moderately difficult and try solving previous year questions from those chapters.
In chemistry go through the NCERT Book thoroughly. Apply the same procedure here also. First go through the easy chapters, then moderately difficult and then towards the difficult chapters. Also solve the previous year questions from those chapters.
If you feel you don't have enough time then don't go for the difficult chapters.
The reason for moving from easier to difficult chapters is that you would be able to solve easier questions in your JEE Mains exam while leaving the difficult ones. In this way your rank would improve.
If still you feel there is not enough time then simply try solving the last 10 years question paper. You will have a good idea about the exam and level of question paper.
All the best.
