i have not enough perparation for jee 2019,this chance is my last chance so please help me so i will crack iit jee under 500 rank[iit delhi@

Arunima Singh 11th Feb, 2019

Hi Rahul,

As the exams are getting nearer with only 2 months in hand now, I know you are stressed but what us really required of you is to just focus on the goal and try not to worry about it so much. Worrying will not help you rather it will only lead you to self-doubt.

Thorough practise, a smart study schedule and mock tests is what will help you out the best. My personal advice to you would be to upgrade to more difficult question sets in all three subjects. You can find a lot many mock tests and practice papers online (A few of the websites' link are given below). If you can excel difficult questions then you can definitely score well in the medium and easy questions.

https://www.embibe.com/exams/free-jee-main-mock-test-series/

https://www.vedantu.com/iit-jee/jee-main-online-mock-test-series

https://www.onlinetestseries.in/allenkota/jee-main-exam/mock-test-papers-leader

Secondly, increase your study hours but only realistically by 1 or 2 hours and not more than that if you know you cannot sit through them. And divide your preparation in a way that you cover maximum portions by minum efforts, therefore, be a smart worker. You do not have the liberty of spending days trying to figure out a particular question or topic, therefore, study each subject, everyday and keep timed targets for yourself. Accountability leads to disciplined results, therefore, kee track of how many questions you are solving within an hour and then increase it by +5 or +10 everyday. For example, if you solve a total of 60 questions (including PCM) in 3 hours then try to increase it to 90 or even 100 the next day.

Focus more on the topics that you are not confident of but which have a scope of improvement rather than only polishing what you already are good at. Not that I am saying you need to completey ignore it but try imroving your chances of scoring more by improving in other topics too.

Consistency is the key and you need to be at it but do not stress or exhaust yourself too much. Think of it as your make or break shot and put in all your energy into this, it's only a matter of 2 more months now.

These are just a few tips that I have for you which will hopefully help you out, therefore, just try to incorporate them and do not be scared of the outcome already, you can do it!

I wish you all the very best and if you need any more help then kindly contact me, I'll be more than glad to guide you.

I complete 12th std but, I cant prepare and write the JEE exam for the admissions at IIT. For more please see down...

AMIT DAS 25th Mar, 2019

Hello Sakthi,

Thanks for writing to us. Hope we will be able to answer your query.

See, Sakthi you have just passed your 12th Std. right! Now you are going to enter a completely new world. Your career, life will depend on your academics to some extent. So, everyone need to take this crucial decision of life.

For some reason you weren't able to sit for JEE MAINS this year. If you have set your goal of joining IIT and becoming a good and successful engineer; then it's great. I will suggest you to pursue your dream. For that reason, you have to wait for long year. Yeah it may seem like a decade. But the reality is not with you. In these days, if you prepare hard and accustom all that needs to crack IIT JEE (I believe you will) then it is worth to 'waste a year'. Believe me many of my friends regret still now because of not attempting the exam again.

If you reach there somehow, be it in any discipline; your life will be secure almost. IIT provides all facilities, opportunities you can't imagine.

Now coming back to ANNA UNIVERSITY. It's one of the most reputed private Engineering College after NIT's and IIT's. It has ranked higher in NIRF as well as MHRD. If you want to join this college then it's fine. You are choosing most probably the best Engineering College. Then continue your life as days pass on.Even if you fail to crack IIT, still then you don't have to worry about. As you are already admitted into a college.

And the last and very important option that remains is that; get into ANNA UNIVERSITY continue your college and also prepare for JEE side-by-side.

You may think of this option as well but the time you will get after college hours is not sufficient enough. Even your body doesn't permit that amount of pressure.

(N.B. I have seen two three friends of mine doing the same, failing miserably) I'm not demotivating you, I am just saying usually what happens. The main thing is focus only on one thing, keep your enthusiasm high above the sky. You will surely meet success one day !

best of luck,

Which the best theory books for physics NEET preparation

ruchika.chauhan Expert 18th Mar, 2019

Hello

NCERT textbooks are the best for understanding the fundamentals. However, it is essential to refer to other important books also for indepth preparation for this competitive examination and to get a seat in good medical college.

Some of the important books which you can refer are-

Concepts of Physics by H. C. Verma

Objective Physics By DC Pandey

Fundamentals of Physics by Halliday, Resnick and Walker

Fundamental Physics by Pradeep

Problems in General Physics by IE Irodov

If you are appearing for NEET 2019 exam, the exam is to be conducted on May 5th, 2019 and if you have completed the syllabus, you should now focus on the revision part.

Solve previous year question papers and give mock tests, it will help you to know about  the difficulty level and type of questions asked in the exam. Also, it helps to boost your speed and analyse your preparation level.

You should enroll for the NEET Rank Booster for your preparation-

Between MTG at your FINGERTIPS and BOILOGY GEAR UP. which is best book for NEET preparation to score 600+

Hrishikesh Das 11th Feb, 2019

I would recommend for NCERT at your fingertips. The reasons are as follows: if you follow the recent trends of questions in both NEET and AIIMS almost all the questions are taken from the lines, diagrams, flow charts etc from NCERT. the book provides a great insight of how to read NCERT and one understands what he has missed and even questions can come from that part too.

Now for score 600+ the main determining factor is never Biology. It’s always physics and chemistry. Most the average medical aspirants are good in Biology. Biology helps you get into a college, but Physics and chemistry are the rank decider. So read them too and with equal importance.
