Why most of students failed to crack aiims or neet even they study for 10 to 15 hours a day?

Mayank Kukreti 29th Jan, 2019
Hii Abhishek
First of all you need to understand that quality matters not quantity so same rule applies for preparing for any entrance exam so it doesn't matter you study for 10 hours a day or 15 hours,it all depends on your concentration that for how long you have been concentrating throughout your studies.you must have heard that some students just studied 6 hours a day and got selected in NEET and AIIMS exam this is because they are only concentrated towards studies at that particular time.some students use to study 10 hours a day but in that particular time they get distracted from various things like phone, thoughts etc so due to this they are not able to concentrate on studies..you should start your day with meditation and yoga as it will help you to remain calm and stress free, make it a habit to do meditation in the morning for atleast 10 minutes. The main aim of doing all this is that it will increase your concentration power as it is not the duration that counts but it is the concentration in studies which really matters.if you are concentrated in doing some work then you will be able to do it in the less amount of time and it is the concentration that will help you to achieve your goals. As we know that it is difficult to concentrate for long hours while studying so to build that concentration power you have to remain stress free and motivated. As you will start doing meditation daily then after few days you will start feeling the change in you.As these things might be funny for young generation but it is the reality that if you start doing these things you will surely get a result in your day to day life so if you want to be successful in life then you should start doing it.
To crack any entrance exam, you need to have a proper schedule to follow so here are some points you should keep in mind while studying-
1) divide your day into 4 halfs and each half should be of 3 hours atleast, first half should be for physics,2nd for biology,3rd half should  be for chemistry and 4th half should be for solving objectives.
2) always study physics in the morning as you will be fresh in the morning so it will be easy for you to concentrate on it.As you know that every medical aspirant find it difficult so make sure you make it a plus point for you.
3) your main focus should remain on NCERT textbook as most of the questions are asked from it so make sure you go through your NCERT textbooks thoroughly as it will help you to build your basics strong
4) opt any one reference book for each subject for solving objectives like for physics you can opt universal publication,dc Pandey,Allen module, for biology you can opt trueman of biology,MTG,Allen module, Pradeep publication, for chemistry you can opt Dinesh objective,op Tandon,Allen module,ABC publication.Don't try to opt too many reference book as it will only confuse you so make sure you solve one reference book for each subject multiple times
5) solve previous year question papers because sometimes questions are repeated as it is and it will also give you the idea that how the questions are being framed from each subject
6) join any test series so that you get familiar with the pattern and can Manage your time as time management is the most important thing because if you can't manage your time properly then there is no use of studying
7) last and the most important thing not to get distracted from your goal as this your very crucial time so if you feel that your getting distracted then try to watch some motivational videos or meditate as so will bring down your stress level.
I hope this information helps you.
Thank you

Im right now in 11th, I have not studied much in this year. How can I prepare to crack JEE mains?

swapnithreddykothi 4th Sep, 2022

Hello Aspirant !!

Don't worry that you have not done much in class 11. There are many students who did not prepare much for JEE in class 11, but still cleared IIT JEE with very good ranks and went into good colleges.

Now we must evaluate what to do in class 12, so that you can still go for your dream colleges. Follow these important tips :

  • Get fully boosted with motivation. Don't seek for external motivation and fall in motivational trap (Like seeing motivational videos to get interest in studies). Only source of your motivation should be your desire to get into IITs and the hard work of your parents. Never feel depressed. If you feel so then talk for some time with your parents or loved ones.
  • Always be attentive and don't ever miss the running syllabus that is taught in your coaching. Along with that parallelly cover the backlog chapters which you have not studied in class 12.
  • Be consistent. It is better to self study consistently for at least four hours. Four hours of self study with proper planning for this one year ensures your success in your final exam.
  • Most important thing is that never compare your scores in mock tests with others. You have your own journey. Your marks will surely improve if you will study consistently.
  • Be far from negative people. Sacrifice your interest in useless things.

That's it. If you do this things for the upcoming year you can have some better college life and bright future in a wonderful college for the next four years.

All the very best !!

Harish H 28th Jan, 2019

Hello

The gate exam is difficult if you start to prepare at the last time.what i would suggest is you start learning from now onward go dowmlaod the syllabus for cse gate.and then concentrate on those in your sems gate exam all the subjects which you study in engineering so if you have a good hand on those subjects it would ne easier for you to clear.and statt preparing from 3 rd year so that you have lots of time to revise.

Thank you

Sir main ek problem main hoon mujhe 2020 main neet Dena hain and Maine ab tk kuch start nhi Kiya but mujhe crack karna hain meet pls help me

Deepshikha Student Expert 29th Jan, 2019
Hey,
You got to stop freaking out so much.It is still 2019 and you have a year left for the exam that is the gateway to medical colleges in India. It is really great you are so much concerned about your future but there is no point worrying about it.Start studying from today and see the change yourself.
It's a myth that a two year long preparation would get you through NEET.Many people crack it by working hard in the last few months but for that you need to be consistent with your studies.
The first thing you can do is read NCERT books of class 11 and 12. After being thorough with the NCERT go for reference books and practice a lot.

How can I crack CAT entrance exam easily?

kashishjuneja2000_8032841 Student Expert 28th Jan, 2019

You can easily crack CAT exam if you focus on the main domains of the exam. You need to focus on-

1. English

2. Aptitude

3. Logical reasoning and data interpretation

With this you also need to have practice in writing as you would have to clear written ability test (WAT) in the next step.

If you have good conmand over these topics you could easily clear the exam. If you will practice it for about 7-8 months efficiently you can easily crack it. Just stay motivated and give it your best.

i need advice for fmge exam .how i prepare for that ..and i need last fmge papers from 2006 to 2019.

Gautam Manohar 31st Jan, 2019
Hello wanishahid,Clear your basic concepts first. Join a coaching if you are not sure what to read. If you can study by yourself then get some decent coaching notes and follow them. Focus on a single book for mcqs and stick to it. There is no fixed pattern of questions for fmge so its better you make your concepts strong and be prepared for any kind of questions.dont spend lot of time on a sinle topic,Focus more on the most important subjects like PSM, medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, pathology, biochemistry, physiology so on.Don't try to study each and every subject, practice MCQ'S everyday, revision is very important please don't forget to revise atleast 4 times before the exam, sleep well, you can crack this exam for sure.Try to choose only one book for each subject.Don't leave more than 3 subjects,Incase you don't have enough time to complete all the subjects atleast do read the most important points.good luck
