Can anyone give me a plan so that I can manage my boards as well as Jee preparation . I can manage matbs and chemistry but weak in physics .

Unnam sreekanth 24th Jan, 2019

Hello aspirant

Now make a schedule for every day which covers one important topic in physics and also give preference to chemistry and mathematics.

If you give half hour to physics and give another half hour to both mathematics and chemistry

In physics concentrate on  these topics only

  • ectrostatics
  •  Current Electricity
  • Magnetic Effects of Current and Magnetism
  • Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents
  • Optics
  • Dual Nature of Matter and Radiation,Atoms and Nuclei
  • Thermodynamics
  • Oscillations and Wave

Start preparing for physics allot a 1 hour time for physics try to remember formula and do few problems to understand the topic.and another 1 hour for both chemistry and mathematics.

Hope helpful to you

All the best

Thank you

hello sir"i need to crack cat at anyhow i need iimb for mba

Veeralkumar Thakur 29th Apr, 2019
Hello,

Candidates who appear for CAT and crack it in the first go and so will you too, with the right amount of Hardwork, focus and dedication.

As I think your are familiar about the pattern of CAT which consists of Vocabulary (English, RCs section), Quant (Mathematics section) and DI & LR ( Graphs, Pictures and reasoning section).

IIMs, especially the old ones, are India's premium institutes because of their great quality of education, faculty and infrastructure. The results are clearly seen from the students graduating from those colleges.

So if they are making brilliant managers, they require the best minds of India, hence the CAT which is a race against time and packed with negative marking scheme and tests endurance, accuracy and focus. So CAT becomes a major filter for IIMs to filter out the best minds and then filtering them even more by WAT/GD-PI process before admission.

That's the reason the avg. Cutoff for IIMs lie between 95 to 100 percentile. And the categories have their own cutoffs.

As far as cracking CAT is concerned, it is the logic which is more about beating the game instead of winning the game. I mean, it's not about how many questions you attempt but it's about how many you let go cause you know the answer You got might be incorrect. The ability to let go of few questions is one of the major winning tricks in a examination like CAT which is a race against time and packed with negative marking scheme.

So there is this link which can help you with detailed CAT prep and so will many other CAT coaching classes, https://www.google.co.in/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://bschool.careers360.com/articles/cat-when-and-how-start-preparations/amp&ved=2ahUKEwjE8M7_vOrhAhWK63MBHYiEDzoQFjATegQIBhAB&usg=AOvVaw3wpWyn9MB0MhMz31UyIRQD&ampcf=1

The real tricks lay beyond the syllabus and that's what you need to master. Its about ability to crack examinations instead of cracking the syllabus.

Hope this helps.

All the best!

I have made a lot of sillymistakes in january jee main how should i prepare for next jee main to avoid such calculation mistakes??

prithviraj deb barman 23rd Jan, 2019

Hello Rimon,

I suggest you start doing all the steps while you are solving problems. If you do a lot of mental calculations its better if you practice a lot it saves a lot of time but at the cost of accuracy. You should read the questions very carefully because in jee in some problems out of the 4 options that you get some are incomplete or you can get a more simplified answer it is a very common mistake.

you can practice meditation to increase your focus and concentration this can help you avoid petty mistakes.

I hope you find this helpful. wish you all the best for all your exams.

Aditya Singh 23rd Jan, 2019

Hello aspirant,

First of all you should know that you have 3 attempts for jee main and two consecutive attempts for jee advance.

To give jee advanced you have to clear jee mains and you will be allowed to give jee advance for that particular year.

Jee mains is held two times in a year both attempt in a year is counted as one attempt.

To crack jee main and advance you need to make your physics, chemistry and maths very strong.
