Hello Mohak Gupta,
Some useful online resources for TISSNET 2018 GK section are:
Thanku.
Hi Nethan,
Firstly, the concept of coaching is misunderstood. The best who can guide you is yourself. First when you want to appear for CLAT 2020, you need to understand the entire pattern of the examination. Since you have 6 months more to start off your preparation, analyze the points were your weak and for which you require help.
The pattern of the exam is as follows:
1. Legal Aptitude-50 marks
2. General Awareness- 50 marks
3. Logical reasoning -40 marks
4. English - 40 marks
5. Elementary Mathematics- 20 marks
Total - 200 marks
From the above pattern, two sections make half of the paper i.e. Legal aptitude & General awareness (including Current affairs & Static GK) comprises of 100 marks.
So, understand and try to strengthen these sections as much as possible.
Here are some startegy videos that I would recommend, as it has helped me in my preparation:
These videos had helped me understand how I should prepare for the Examination and also gave a clear idea on what are the topics that are to be studied. So can see them as well.
These videos will first help you understand all the topics in depth and also help you plan for your upcoming preparation for 2020.
Hi Vani,
Firstly, let us first understand the pattern of the GK section of CLAT examination. So out of 200 marks, Gk comprises of 50 marks.
GK comprises of both Static GK & Current Affairs.
To study so many topics and to remember them is really difficult and boring. So, I would personally suggest you to first list down the topics that come under Static GK and keep updating yourself with Current Affairs.
Static GK can be understood by understanding each topic and also by solving as many questions as possible. Do not try to memorize as you would eventually forget the facts and figure.
Static GK is a very broader section, so first try covering the Static GK on India.
1. Cover all the capitals, currencies, dance forms, important days, National Parks & Wildlife Sanctuaries, Sports, Important days(National), and Indian Awards
2. Once, you have covered these topics solve questions based on them.
3. Then go to International section, cover International Awards, International Sports, World Heritage sites, Important days (International)
4. Simultaneously keep preparing for Current Affairs and keep solviing as many questions as possible because it also holds an equal amount of weightage in CLAT Examination.
Even though you have prepared for maximum of all the topics, you should solve as many questions as possible as it would help you improve your score and gain maximum marks from this section.
So, I would personally suggest you to start giving mock tests for this section and try remebering Static GK/Current Affiars on a daily basis, spent nearly 2-3 hours in a day, as it will not burden you and simultaneously you can prepare for other subjects as well.
I have personally given weekly mock tests and it has helped me improve my score, there are also certain youtube videos that give daily Current Affairs questions.
I am providing with some links as it helped me in my preparation.

There is a channel they daily come with videos on Current Affairs, so you can see it. Also, they provide weekly mocks test series for GK so you can register yourself and try the mock tests, as it helped me improve my score.

Finally, I am again stressing on solve as many questions as possible because questions help you improve your score and help you understand your weaker areas.
