hello gokul,
as you're in 2nd year of your engineering, you no need to spend separate time for gate preparation. all you need to do is you've to concentrate more on your basics as much as you can.deep learning is the key for GATE exam.so ask doubts to your faculties,if they couldn't clear your doubts then go for online websites/tutorials and youtubes.subscribe or follow any gate preparation sites and channels.
solve previous year questions regularly.as you're in 2nd year, there some questions will be there in previous year questions for your knowledge and subjects.take that questions and solve them in daily basis.
spend some quality time for this preparation daily.dont distract towards the surroundings and other emotional things,do your schedule regularly.if you do this kind of preparation, then you'll able to clear not only gate but any competetive exams.aptitude is also main things for this kind of exam and it will help you for your placements too ,so prepare for this also.

hello savita bagoria,
as you're in second year of engineering, you dont need any separate preparation.you've to concentrate in your subjects properly and solve objective type questions by your own regularly.first, take the print out copy of your gate syllabus-subjects.
give some space to this objective type solving section daily.dont distract towards environment, because you're in second year only so you'll be having many distractions.
dont hesitate to ask doubts to your staffs,if they can't clear your doubt then go for online tutorials and youtube but dont get compremised.try to learn deeply, then only you can crack gate.
if you gonna do your preparation like i said, then you can crack not only gate but any PSU's exam.

Hello Isha
I will only suggest you some of the points which will help you to gain confidence while attempting question paper
1. Analyze your target marks bcz many people just think for GATE clearence but they actually dont able to set their target marks .
2. Analyze your strength and weakness .This will help you to gain good marks .You must be confident on the some topics that if they comes in exam then you will score full in that and if some topics you are not good than just learn some basic of it. so if question comes from that topic than you are able to solve that.
3.Confidence on your calculation - Your calculation should be as fast as possible because you will get mininum time period for solving a single question.you can not waste your time on lengthy calculations
at last always be Positive
I hope you agreed with my answer
Thank You
Hi there.
For CLAT preparation all you need is one book that is Universal's Guide to CLAT & LLB Entrance examinations. I know this sounds pretty unbelievable but trust me this book is your only need. With more than 11000 Multiple Choice questions, it has previous years questions of CLAT as well as other law entrance examinations. Not just that, it even has mock test papers. This is your one step solution for law entrance examination preparation. With so many questions to brush up your knowledge, it also includes the whole syllabus of CLAT and other law entrance examinations. From General Knowledge, to Legal Aptitude, to Logical Reasoning, even English! Everything is there in this book. You wouldn't have to touch other books if you follow this one. Other than that, you can also refer Lakshmikant's Indian Polity and NCERT textbooks of History, Geography, and Political Science for basic preparation. Make a habit of reading newspaper daily, for this purpose, "The Hindu" is highly recommended. You may also follow Yojana Magazines for current affairs. Keep a watch on news, using social media and Television to be successfully updated with current affairs.
Keeping the above in mind you'll have to make your own schedule. See, I don't know about your daily routine, that how much time you spend in different activities from school to tuitions to your leisure time. I don't know how much is your aptitude and capacity that how much you'd be able to complete in one sitting. I have told you what to do but you'll have to devise your own schedule in order to get the answer of "how" to do the above. :)P.S : Reading would increase your vocabulary. For budding lawyers, "10 judgements that changed India" by Zia Mody and "Legal Eagles" by Indu Bhan are great books. They are not specified for CLAT preparation but will help you a lot in your journey of becoming an advocate. Hope this helps.
Good luck!

Hello Shyam,
Your basics in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics should be very clear upto 12th std. You should read the NCERT books for basics. Then HC Verma for Physics, RD Sharma for Mathematics, OP Tendon for Physical & Inorganic Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry of "Arihant Publication" for detail or extra knowledge. You should also try to solve the previous years question papers, this helps too much and you should also give the mock test to rectify yourself and build your confidence level.
For preparation of exam, the most important thing is your confidence after that you should know the whole syllabus and make your plan properly for learning new chapters, solving the numericals and revision. All three things should be the part of your preparation strategy in daily routine.
The main thing is that you have to build your concentration level, then only you can stay focused on your goal. I would like to say that please limit the study time between 10 to 12 hours and please increase your concentration and speed of reading, understanding and solving the problems then you will not face any kind of difficulty. For more preparation tips, importants topics & books, you can go through the link given belowHttps://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-2019
In this way, you can prepare well for the JEE Main and the JEE Advanced. Thanks for query on this platform, you may visit againAll the best for your examination.
It is good to know that you have completed the preparation as well as previous years tests. In case you haven't done it, you can go for correcting your mistakes in all the tests you have attempted. Coming to the question,it is very important to go for mock tests(for entire syllabus) , because they are generally tougher than the ones that you solved in previous years papers. So go for mock tests or grand tests that are available online. But revising the short notes you have made yourself is also important, so allot time in a day for yourself for both revising as well as doing the test. Revising and tests are equally inportant.
Hope this helps you ....
