First it's important to complete your Boards Portion. If you are done with it well and good. Then get your basics clear. After your basics are cleared start reading NCERT BOOKS and practice questions from it. If you are concentrated on your studies then definitely you can crack it. After NCERT Books you can go for HC Verma for Physics, practice organic reactions of Chemistry everyday so you are thorough with all reactions. For inorganic chemistry you can refer RC Mukherjee book named as Chemical Calculations. Everyday give time to solving problems of Maths. One thing to remember is every subject must be given equal attention.
If you still have any queries feel free to ask in the comment section down below.
Hello,
For preparation of exam, the most important thing is your confidence after that you should know the whole syllabus and make your plan properly for learning new chapters, solving the numericals and revision. All three things should be the part of your preparation strategy in daily routine.
Your basics in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics should be very clear upto 12th std. You should read the NCERT books for basics. Then HC Verma for Physics, RD Sharma for Mathematics, OP Tendon for Physical & Inorganic Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry of "Arihant Publication" for detail or extra knowledge. You should also try to solve the previous years question papers, this helps too much and you should also give the mock test to rectify yourself and build your confidence level.
The main thing is that you have to build your concentration level, then only you can stay focused on your goal. I would like to say that please limit the study time between 10 to 12 hours and please increase your concentration and speed of reading, understanding and solving the problems then you will not face any kind of difficulty.
In this way, you can score good marks in JEE Main as well as JEE Advanced.
All the best
Hey Aayushi.
CLAT is a competitive exam and starting preparation just 4 months prior may not be that effective. You can manage the topics like Legal Aptitude, Quantitative and verbal Reasoning, Math in 4 months. But you will be required to devote more time for GK and English Vocabulary. To prepare gor CLAT along with your 12th science boards, start reading the newspaper daily as you can not grasp a year long Current affairs just a few months before. Other than this you can take some hours out in a week and play daily quizes on Current affair On the website GK today.in.
For rest of the section, you might be able to manage in the last 4 months if you work hard enough.
Best of luck!
Hey
GK - For static you can refer to the Concised size Pearson or the Arihant’s guide.
For current affairs, first of all develop a habit to read newspapers daily. The Hindu is the newspaper preferred by various CLAT Aspirants.
There is a site called GK today.in which you can go to for current affairs. They have daily quizes based on current affairs which has been proved very usefull for CLAT preparation.
English - For Vocabulary you can refer the Word Power Made Easy. You will come across various words while reading the newspaper too, prepare a list, go through them regularly and try to use them in sentences. You should read the Editorial section of the Hindu for your Reading as well as Vocabulary section of CLAT.
For grammar you can use the Wren & Martin.
Mathematics - For Quantitative aptitude by RS Aggarwal. Other than that previous year question papers and Arihant/ Universal guide migh help too.
Legal Aptitude - Universal’s guide to CLAT and LLB, Pearson CLAT Guide are considered the best.
Logical Reasoning - RS Aggarwal
Make sure that you go through the past year question papers and practice them along with sample papers.
If you are planning to take any coaching in institutes like Career launcher, Bulls eye etc then their reading material covers all aspects. You can refer the books listed above in case you need separate books for any or all the sections.
