Hello Ronak,

To prepare for JEE Main studying NCERT thoroughly is advisable. However, you can enhance your preparation by referring to the side books of authors like H.C. Verma, R.D. Sharma, O.P.Tondon, etc. Please refer to the articles JEE Main important books and topics. The link has been provided below for the same.

Sir can you say me if I prepare from now onwards for jee how much I can score

Gokul V S 4th Jul, 2018

hey there!

The question a little bit unpredictable since we can't really predict our mark with just the days before the exam. It depends on how much effort you put into it. If you put a decent amount of time in studying specially for JEE based on NCERT and with a proper guidance ,  you can surely get a score between 160-180 avg. The score may increase or decrease based on you IQ as well.

sir how i can prepare for gate exam i dont know how to prepare and i am a average student plz give a tips for my preparation

Rohith 3rd Jul, 2018

hi pandu ,

thank you for approaching us . the below tips might help you in a better preparation .

  • First of all you should be aware of the syllabus of GATE like important topics so that during preparation you put maximum number of hours on those topics but that doesn’t mean you will neglect the other topics because GATE is highly unpredictable these days . So you need to complete end to end syllabus.
  • Just reading a topic won’t help you to have deep understanding of that topic, you have to solve different varieties of problems for that topic till you gain confidence. So basically practice as much as you can from different resources like standard books, schaum series books, Kanodia books ( lot of errors) GATE previous year questions.
  • Don’t neglect Mathematics and Aptitude generally the level of questions from these are easy. Students during the preparation tend to neglect these two so don’t neglect aptitude and mathematics. Their total weightage is 30 Marks.
  • My suggestion is for completing a topic or a subject refer a standard book. only one standard book is enough per subject simultaneously you can also read some hand written material of coaching institutes. You can also refer NPTEL lectures to get a basic understanding of some topics which you are unable to understand.
  • Try to complete the syllabus by the end of October and start giving online test provided by coaching institutes . Through online test you will come to know about your weakness. So you can easily work on your weakness in the month of November and December. You can also give subject wise test when you are done with a particular subject so that you can check your level of preparation.
  • Make a separate Copy for important formula’s and key concepts so that during the last days of GATE you can revise those topics easily.
  • When you complete a particular subject and you move to a new subject than make sure you revise your previous subject from time to time. Revision is very important. Especially during last 2 months try to revise whatever you have studied everyday.
  • One important thing keep yourself motivated during the entire preparation time even you are not able to solve particular topics or problems there is no need to loose self confidence.

all the best

But you can join any private college.
Too private college is not come under this rabk but you can try in any average private college.
For govt college your have to score rabk under 35k in JEE mains.

Nw im studying inter 2nd yr.so i wanna get rank in CLAT or LAWCET in a govt clg.so hw i can prepare 4rm now ???

Helsi Merulia 2nd Jul, 2018

Thanks for query

for CLAT- Candidates can secure another 50 marks if their preparation level in General Knowledge and Current Affairs is higher than other competitors. To obtain 100% marks in GK and Current Affairs, you will be required to keep yourself updated about what is happening around, what happened in the recent past besides being in good command over subjects taught in school.

Another important subject is English & Comprehension carrying 40 marks in total. CLAT 2018 aspirants are advised to strengthen their English grammar and comprehension ability. Rich vocabulary and sentence framing knowledge too can help candidates score higher in this subject.

Logical Reasoning paper will carry 40 marks and candidates would be tested on various parameters of verbal and non verbal reasoning. Candidates need to practice as many reasoning exercises as possible to do maximum number of reasoning questions correctly.

Elementary Mathematics carries 20 marks and questions under this subject are simple and relatively straight  forward. CLAT 2018 candidates can easily solve questions if their concepts up to Xth class are clear and if they are thorough with the mathematical formulas.
