Hello everyone! Getting straight on question, I have 10th 76%, 12th 59%, B.com 60%.

ANAND D 3rd Jun, 2018

hai.

even for the preparation of bank po you need to study quantitative ability, reasoning, verbal ability, and data interpretation and it is there for cat as well but the level of difficulty of the questions would be bit higher for cat. so at the time of po preparation try to solve the difficult sums as well so that you can score well in both.

thank you

i am 3rd year engineering student i would like to start preparation for CAT so suggest me the best way and any online sites

Suraj Mallick 2nd Jun, 2018

Initially for the first 5–6 months you should:

  1. Start reading voraciously: Op-eds of dailies like Hindu, Economic times, Articles from websites, Non-fiction novels
    1. Solve puzzles and improve lateral thinking:
      1. Can start off with “Puzzles to Puzzle you” by Shakuntala Devi
      2. Sudoku, crosswords
    2. Buy a book on vedic mathematics and start off learning how to calculate fast

Post that you can start preparing full throttle! The approach I think will work:

Set weekly targets and aim to finish the same before time. See while studying work may come up suddenly (adhoc work or surprise test, etc.) and I feel u need that flexibility to do well. Hence, juggling between college and MBA preps becomes all the more desirable. Also innovation in preparations also helps a lot.  Set targets like:

    a) Half an hour a day of reading
    b) two Quant concepts a day (theory)
    c) 1 DI set, 1 LR set (preferably from old mock papers)
    d) Half an hour a day of quants practise

Follow this for around 7–8 months and you should be be able to finish the concept and topic wise practise part of things.

In the latter prep phase mocks will start pouring in and giving them enough time and attention is of paramount importance. Also one should thoroughly experiment and finalise on a strategy for the actual exam

Keep a track of the following while analysing mocks :

    1. Accuracy
    2. The best approach to solve a problem
    3. Strong-Weak areas

Start slowly with 1 mock per week - taking atleast 3–4 days analyzing them and later on graduate to 2 mocks per week - slowly you will see that the time taken for analyzing also reduces!

Also, as you delve into mocks keep exploring shortcuts, tips and tricks to solve problems in an easier and lucid manner!

    All the best!

Neet and AIIMS 2019 PREPARATION BOOKS

    Mayank Kukreti 2nd Jun, 2018
    Hii
If you want to score very good marks in NEET or aiims then you have to read ncert thoroughly for all the subjects as ncert is the backbone for cracking neet and aiims, 90% of the questions will come from ncert only so after completing ncert questions you can go through some other books like-
    1)objective biology by dinesh
    2)DC Pandey, physics
    3)modern's ABC chemistry
I hope this information helps you.
    Thank you

What would be the best way for the neet 2019 preparation?? Plz suggest . So that I can get any of the govt medical college

    Gautam Manohar 21st Jan, 2019

Hi you have plenty of time, and if you work smart, you can really score well easily, i will tell you how to prepare for both NEET As well as AIIMS,

Physics and chemistry- physics is considered one of the toughest subject for medical aspirants, but very interesting. choose any good book of your convinience, there are plenty of good books as many mentioned already. read the concepts thoroughly, understand them cover to cover, if you have doubts, clear them then and there. solve atleast 300 to 500 questions per chapter, check ,analyse and rectify your mistakes. solve again. the more you solve the merrier.initially you wont be getting many correct answers, but as you keep on doing am sure you will see your score rising. solve previous question papers too

Biology-aiims doesnt cover most part from ncert like how neet does, in neet around 300 marks are from ncert text book itself, so u need to thorough ncert first and then read any good book of your choice and solve as many questions as you can

General knowledge and current affairs(AIIMS ONLY)- read newspapers regularly, keep yourself updated always, use year books, they ll help you alot.
