How to preparefor cat exam by self study and whats the best book for there preparation?

Sampriti Gupta Student Expert 7th Jul, 2019

You can definitely prepare for CAT by studying yourself. First of all get the previous year papers and go through the questions. Once you get to know what kind of questions are asked you can prepare that way.

For Quantitative aptitude section the book of either Arun Sharma or Sarvesh Verma is good.

For English try to read daily newspapers especially The Hindu and if possible read The Economist magazine also because many a times the Reading Comprehension passages are taken directly from there.

For DI/LR past year questions are sufficient.

Moreover you can secure excellent scores if you get some test series also because they will help to manage your time.

All the very best

Which is the best NEET coaching Institute in Bangalore? Is GATEIIT JP Nagar Best for Neet 2020 exam preparation?

Animesh Vats Student Expert 7th Jul, 2019

Hi Akash,

As far as the teaching is concerned, the teachers are really nice and supportive. But the problem with the institute us because of the management and administration which treats the students the wrong way.

They are at times ignorant. But the teacher are nice and they give good knowledge base to the students.

If you think you can cope with the administration then you are good to go

I hope this information helps.

All the best.

Hello

Yes there are many students but they have their basics concepts very clear.

So you have to clear all you concepts clear and make out of it.

You can study like

Planning is main part of study. Plan your day. Means study 6-7 hours a day except college, classes, daily work. Plan a subject for week or a day. And most important is you must follow a plan.

Motivation toward your goal it might have anything but always say I have to Do it today otherwise someone will go in front of me or I will lag behind.

Know the meaning of English words in your mother tough or know what it means to? So the subject understands very easily.

Read all recommended boards textbooks thoroughly cause board has to bound to get questions from only that text books.

Write as much as you can questions answers. It would increase your hand and brain practice to remember answers.
