Hello Isha,
Which exam you are preparing for? You haven't mentioned name of any exam.
Please rewrite the question again and let me know in below comment section..
Well, brother I believe you don't have to!
According to JoSAA, after your 7th round your prefered or allocated choice automatically freezes. Hence, their is no need of going to freeze or slide your prefereence.
But if you had been alloted a seat for the first time and that in 7th round, then yes you have to appear for the mandatory physical verification
Thank You

Hi Anshi
The fact is boards are the basis of what comes in entrance examinations. The difference between boards and JEE is the type of writing as in board you have to be desciptive and in jee you need short answers and swiftness. You should know that if your concept is clear then you can click in both the exams. Firstly you need clean sweep all the text books and remember the concepts and understand the problems you do then after once you clear the concept go for higher books and definitely you will clear the exams. You for boards solve the test papers and just read the answers in test papers these will give you brief idea about how to write in boards as you know the concept the way of writing will be the only problem and that will be solved by test papers. For jee just solve as much questions as much..
Best of luck
Hopefully my answer helped you.
For preparing for gate start your preparation from the 2nd year itself. Do the maths from 1st year and your departmental subjects will start from second year. So do the basics first theory and then start from the multiple choice questions
Hello Bhimanna!
Its really good if you are preparing for JEE all by yourself. You can enroll for distant learning plans for different coaching centres. That would be best because you can keep a track of your progress and compare it with different students as well.
Hello Bhimanna Bhima,
You have to concentrate and be very dedicated if you want to achieve your goals for JEE. You can't take risks by postponing your study schedule. You have to study everyday and be up to date.
Prepare a schedule for yourself that you have to follow no matter what. The schedule should be in a way that you give more time for your weak points. You will know that once you start preparing properly. You probably have things that are distracting you from your studies. Make sure you try to get rid of the distractions. You can't manage to get distracted. Just concentrate and study and prepare well for your goals and then you will realize or else you will definitely regret for not studying.
First know what is stopping you from studying and try and overcome it. It is you who can put yourself to study and no one else can do that. You should realize. Everything others can do is to tell you what can help or give you lectures or just tell you about life or motivate you but the main thing is in you.
All the best and think of your future. It is you that has to build it.
Hello there,
Well with your WBJEE rank of 26369 , you may not be able to get top colleges in WestBengal but surely there are other colleges where you might get a chance. Below I have listed some of the colleges under WBJEE where you can get a seat under Other State quota candidate -
My opinion would be that you first attend the counselling process for WBJEE and checkout which colleges you are getting and in which branches. After that if you think these are not good , then you can give a year drop for IIT JEE preparation. Because it cant be said for sure that whether you get a seat in IIT or not so its good to have a backup.
You can go through this link and checkout the counselling process for WBJEE : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/wbjee-counselling
Here is the link you can go through and checkout the detailed cutoff for colleges under WBJEE : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/wbjee-cutoff
Hope this helps you . Good Luck !!!
