Crack Exam
Dear Aspirant
I think it's better if you devote much of your time to resources available offline. As going online is very distracting. You may use online resources in youtube for better understanding but make a list of topics for eg 5 topics that you have doubts with, watch them and then shut it down. You may write the topic on the search box and write animation then browse through the list given. You may use Khan Academy.
For Neet
Biology-NCERT is your bible, Read it more than 35 times line to line, figure to figure
Chemistry-Know the concepts of physical chemistry really well, inorganic -again remember the diagrams and read thoroughly there descriptions, Organic-solve questions from NCERT exemplary as well
Physics-Know the formula well, have a clarity of concepts
Finally, solve the last 5 years papers
Advait I will tell you how to prepare for both exams together.
Physics and Chemistry are common in both exams and preparing for one more extra subject than others i.e. 4 instead of 3 is all you have to do. Join a good JEE coaching class since the level of physics and chemistry is harder in JEE than in the medical entrance exam. So, if you are prepared well for JEE, you will score well in at least two sections of medical entrance exams i.e. physics and chemistry. The level of difficulty is always high for Mathematics in JEE. Every year, it is evident from its cut-offs, which is the lowest compared to physics and chemistry. Similarly, preparing for Biology requires an altogether different approach with lot of mugging up. Read more about the how to prepare for JEE here. Be clear about which subject you like studying more: mathematics or biology. If it is mathematics, then your strategy should be such that you are able to clear at least JEE if not medical and vice versa. You can allot a fixed number of hours to Biology daily in the morning (remember you have to work extra hard) since you cannot leave any subject for too long or you will lose touch. Give some mock tests of both the exams and get yourself acquainted with the pattern of JEE & AIIMS/NEET.
Feel free to ask if you have any more queries.
Hope this helps!
All the best!
Greetings sovit,
TIME institute is best for CAT coaching.
jamboree institute is best for GRE/GMAT coaching.
you can however join any institute that is the most convinient to you because ultimately it all depends on self study at the end.
try to save time by choosing a coaching centre nearest to you rathar than wasting time in travelling.
the methodology of teaching is more or less the same for all coaching centres.
career launcher, IMS are some other famous institutes.
hope this helps.
good luck.
MHTCET is the state engineering entrance exam of Maharashtra.
The paper is of 200 marks out of which 50% that is, 100 marks is for Maths only, so if maths is your strong point then maybe it a bit easy for you achieve 160.
Rest 100 marks is attributed to Physics and Chemistry /Biology depending on your stream.
The questions are relatively easy but you need to manage ur time well and attempt easy and direct questions first.
Strengthen your chemistry, especially Inorganic part to gain more marks in less time and try to do physics as fast as possible as physics is often the most lengthy.
Rest lies in your practice! Best of luck buddy
Hi Archanaa,
NEET and JIPMER exams are quite easy, if you start early and manage your time well. NEET exam pattern is as follows,
Total number of questions = 360
Physics = 45
Chemsitry = 45
Biology = 90 (Botony = 45, Zoology = 45)
This is a 180 minutes exam. And the standard of the exam is quite easier than JIPMER exam.
1. Be thorough with the NCERT books. Cultivate the habit of reading the NCERT books line by line regularly.
2. For physics practice, you can go for HC Verma. This would be mandatory for Jipmer, but if you find the standards a bit high for NEET preparation, you can always go for better work books like GRB Objective Physics.
3. For Chemistry, concepts are very important, so I would suggest you to go for Modern's ABC of Chemistry.
4. Apart from this, keep practicing NEET previous year question papers.
On the other hand, JIPMER pattern is a bit different,
Total number of questions = 200
Biology = 60
Chemistry = 60
Physics = 60
English, Language and Comprehension = 10
Logical and Quantitative Reasoning = 10
This is a 150 minutes exam, and thus time management is very important.
The standards of this exam is quite high compared to NEET, and thus NCERT books would not be sufficient.
1. For physics, you can go for HC Verma and GRB Objective Physics. Or any other book for objective Physics, like 'Errorless'.
2. For Chemistry, stick on to Modern's ABC of Chemistry as it cover all the concepts in depth and for the organic part, make sure you practice a lot. MS Chauhan's Organic Chemistry would help.
3. For Biology, the best book you can go for is Trueman's Elementary Biology. It has in-depth theory.
Starting your preparation as early as possible is wise. Going through extra materials in the neck of the moment before the exams is not advisable. Also, stick on to fewer books and be confident in them. That would do wonders.
All The Best.
FIITJEE Chennai is the best coaching centre you can get yourselves enrolled into if you stay in Tamil Nadu for JEE Mains. If location and batch strength is a point of issue for you then you can also review Conceptree Learning, Naganullar or Venper Academy. Also if you're okay with spending a bit more then you can have Aakash as your option too.
Hello Subhash
Obviously jee mains if you are looking for 1 year term.
Otherwise both are better in its own terms ; both will provide you ample of opportunity but it depends upon you and your interest . So what ever you choose do it with your full dedication and commitment.
Jee mains leads you to towards engineering ; research ; further studies ( Mtech ; MBA ; msc etc ) and provide you technical and scientific knowledge etc while ca leads you toward business skills ; management skills ; tax knowledge ; economic knowledge etc.
So choose wisely with full research .
