Exam Pattern
The Manipal Entrance Test will be conducted in two phases, in Online mode.
Phase 1: April 16th to 20th (Slot booking closed on 10th April' 21)
Phase 2: June 9th to 15th (Last date to apply would be May 25th' 21)
MET will be a 2 hours exam, containing the questions around Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English. The questions would be in the form of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ's) and Numerical Answer Type Questions (NAT's), in the following break-up.
a) Physics: 10 MCQ's and 5 NAT's
b) Chemistry: 10 MCQ's and 5 NAT's
c) Maths: 15 MCQ's and 5 NAT's
d) English: 10 MCQ's
Marking Scheme: For each correct MCQ, +4 would be awarded. For every wrong answer, -1 and 0 for every unanswered question.
As for NAT's, +4 would be awarded for every correct answer, and no negative marking for incorrect answers.

When it comes to the exam pattern, the paper has two parts, first one consists of 25 questions from English, General Knowledge and Numerical Ability and rest of the 75 questions are subject specific.

MET Exam 2021 has a duration of 2 hours . The exam consist of mainly two types of questions namely Multiple choice questions (MCQ) and Numerical answer type (NAT) . The total number of questions in the above exam are 60. The exam is divided into 4 sections which are physics , chemistry, Maths and lastly English. The Physics section consists of 15 questions in total, in which 10 are MCQ and remaining 5 are NAT questions. The chemistry section consists of 15 questions in total, in which 10 are MCQ and remaining 5 are NAT questions. The Maths section consists of 20 questions in total, in which 15 are MCQ and remaining 5 are NAT questions. The English section consists of 10 questions in total, in which all the 10 are MCQ .
For every correct answer , candidate is awarded with four marks and for every incorrect answer one mark is deduced.
Total marks awarded are 240.

TS ICET is an computer based examination and all the questions asked in the examination are MCQ type. The total time given for the exam is 150 minutes. There will be three sections in the question papers.
There will be 75 questions from section 1 and 75 questions in section2. 50 questions will be there in section3. Each question will carry 1 marks. So, the total marks will be 200. There ia no negative marking in the exam.

The question paper of CUCET 2021 will consist of 100 questions all will be multiple choice questions format. The maximum marks will be 100 and the total duration of the CUCET 2021 exam will be two hours. The question paper of the CUCET 2021 will be divided into two parts, Part A and Part B. As per the marking scheme of CUCET 2021, the candidates will be awarded with one mark for every correct answer. For every incorrect response, 0.25 mark will be deducted. The conducting body of Central Universities Common entrance test 2021 will conduct the CUCET 2021 entrance examination in the fourth week of May.

Generally most of the college covers the same question pattern in Msc syllabus and coverage.MSc exam typically have questions ranging from 60 to 150 . Generally, 1-3 marks are awarded for each correct answer and 0.5-1 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer.It is very musch different from the entrance exam questions where questions are of MCQ type.
