can we attempt choice questions also in jee mains 2021??

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 23rd Feb, 2021

Hi

No, you cannot attempt choice question i. e there will be 10 numerical value questions in each of physics chemistry and mathematics in your JEE Main paper 1 and out of those 10 questions you have the choice to select the questions which you want to do but you can  attempt only 5 of these 10 questions in each section. While in each of the three section you will have 20 mcqs and you can attempt all of them

To help you further,

JEE Mains examination pattern for both paper 1 and Paper 2 is provided below

PAPER -1

In your JEE Mains 2021 examination paper 1 , there will be a total of 90 question, out of which 75 questions are  to be attempted

And these questions are from three subjects :-

*  30 questions from physics.

* 30 questions  from Chemistry .

* 30 questions  from maths.

The 30 questions  in each Subject,  will be divided into two sections -

*Section A :- A Section will contain 20 MCQs or multiple-choice questions. Four options will be there  out of which one will be correct . And you have to choose the correct option.

* Section B :- it will contain 10 questions whose answer is a numerical value , no options will be there ,  you need to enter or type your answer  i. e numerical value . You  have to attempt only 5   questions out of the  total 10 numerical value questions .

So, out of 30 questions in each subject only 25 questions are to be attempted, so in total  25 x 3 = 75 questions out of 90 questions are to be attempted.

Each question carries 4 marks

Exam is conducted for a total of

= 75 x 4

= 300 marks

Marking scheme :-

*four marks will be awarded for your every correct answer

* 1 mark will be deducted for your every wrong answer in case of section A /MCQs

* no marks will be deducted for your wrong answer in case of in case of section B/numerical value question

What is the syllabus and exam pattern of AIIMS msc reproductive health and clinical embryology entrance exam?

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 24th Mar, 2021

Hi Shruti!

The syllabus for AIIMS entrance exam for MSC in Reproductive biology and clinical embryology is available nowhere. But you can get idea by checking some previous years question papers and the mock tests available online.

I can give you a rough idea about the topic which you should prepare. Paper will mostly contain the basic questions from the grdauation. There are 90 MCQs in the exam which are to be solved in 90 minutes. Questions will be of basic NCERT level from the chapters like Molecular basis of inheritence, and topics like Amino acids, DNA, RNA, codons, base pairs, transcriptions , menstrual cycle, reproductive hormones, gametogenesis, molecular biology etc. There are very low chances that question paper covers the questions from chromosomal disorders/ syndromes, general embryology, genetic abnormalities, inheritance, cleavage, reproductive health, medical schemes or current affairs.

So, stick to the basic and don't forget to chack the previous year papers.

Thankyou!

is nta reduce syllabus of JEE main and advanced ,what is exam pattern of JEE main and advanced?

ARYAN SAGAR 26th Jan, 2021
Dear student,

Jee mains exam will be based on the previous syllabus. And as the information brochure has been released so the syllabus will be uncut. So in jee mains can have the full syllabus as per the previous syllabus.

Also this year, JEE Main 2021 ( paper 1 ) will have a total of 90 questions, 25 each from Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. And you have to attempt only 75 questions.
Each subject will have 20 MCQs and 10 numerical questions and correct answer will get you 4 marks and for every wrong answers 1 marks is deducted. 5 out of 10 numerical questions are optional.

Numerical questions don't have negative marking.

JEE Main 2021 for paper 1 (B.Tech) will be conducted for 300 marks, while paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Plan) will be conducted separately for 400 marks each.

And for jee advanced there is no pattern. Every year the pattern gets changes, the full marks changes and marking scheme changes.
