sir pls help I m dropper jee this year my preparation is very well but my weakness is fear in my mind that obstruct my path in mock tests I scored about 190+ to 230 but in exam I expect About 160+ . how do I remove my fear in April as I m self studying and never joined any coaching in life.

Vandana Arora 11th Jan, 2020

Hello!

See the thing is...no person is fearless, everybody has their own fears. And when it comes to examinations, the fear reaches another level. That is how  jee mains is designed. It not only tests your knowledge but also your ability to handle yourself in the worst of situations. Even I was scared to death when I gave my jee mains paper. So you see....fear is really not the problem, every single person faces it. Here are some things you can do that will channelise your fear in the right direction:

  • Even take your fears as a part of your exam! From your question I can definitely say that you are a very very hard working student who has done everything on his own which makes you different from the crowd out there. If you take your fear of examination as a test and be determined to clear it, no one can stop you. For that you can practice more mock tests and always track the time
  • Constantly revise everything. Revision not only helps you everything but also helps you build confidence.
  • Don't revise or do anything on the day before exam. Everyone panics on a day before exam and it is really normal. But you can divert yourself from this panic by NOT STUDYING ON THE LAST DAY. Sit with your family or a close friend and talk to them about as many good things as you can. Fill yourself with positivity and confidence. Drink lots and lots of water and most importantly, sleep on time! Remember that, sleep on time! Wake up early in the morning that day and give youself time. Talk to yourself if you want to, that reallyy helps. Talk as many good things you can to yourself.
  • You can also refer to our package for april session- https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-jee-main-april/
  • The last and the most important thing, have BELIEF in yourself! You have come this far and will definitely go more. Jee mains is just a chapter in your book and it will pass! When you wil look back to these days trust me you will be the most happiest just because you will remember how hard you worked for this which will always keep motivating you! Have faith in yourself. You will surely do it!

All the very best!!

l got a private bds college in Bangalore last year but i could not continue my study more than 1 weak for medical issues. Now I take preparation for neet. my question is can I continue my study in this year on that college as a drop year student

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 20th Feb, 2020

Rist, you have to talk to your College if your admission still holds good. You may not take admission in another College with last year's NEET score but if you have already taken admission in BDS, you ideally can continue in the same college unless you have taken the TC and other documents from the College. So, the best people who can suggest you on this will be the college administration.
