Preparation
In inorganic chemistry first you need to divide the syllabus in two parts one is conceptual and other is memory based the conceptual part is the structure of the compounds hybridisation theories of structure of compounds and the memory based part is the reactions and the properties of compounds.
For the first part you can understand the topic well and and practice new questions and consider the exceptions well also if you look at the previous years questions of the competitive exams then you can understand it some compounds which are also in the syllabus of the exams are structures therefore you need to focus more on that part on the second part that is memory based in it to remember each and everything but the problem lies when students don't have proper knowledge of the syllabus therefore you should have Chrisp and clear knowledge of the syllabus and only prepare from the syllabus try to revise daily.
Hello aspirant, HC verma is useful for doing conceptual ones, for numericalones, it is not actually sufficient, you need either dc pandey or other arihant numerical books to crack the jee mains exam, NCERT books can also help. You can take mock tests and have a look at past years papers to have a knowledge on what is being given.
Thank you.
hello aspirant, NCERT books would be sufficient for getting good knowledge on mathematical sums, however if you want further understanding, you can opt for arihant previous years papers book which consists of all past papers upto 37 years and also books by cengage which are of same genre.
thank you.
Hello dear student
We are happy to help you knowing which is the best book for GATE preparation but for that you need to mention your stream in which you are going to give your GATE exam. without that we will not be able to help you knowing which book is better for the preparation of GATE. so rewrite your question telling in which stream you are going to give you GATE exam so that we can help you.
Best wishes
Hello dear student,
there is not much you need to do extra for the preparation of JEE mains as I am hoping you must be already preparing for JEE mains. Just as you preparing for your class 12th boards exams . So pick one unit try solving it for your board exam in after you complete your preparation of that one particular chapter for your board exam then pick a book having multiple choice questions and then start solving the MCQs related to that particular chapter on topic and that weighs you will be able to solve and prepare for both both as well as JEE mains exam and this will not even hamper your preparation.
Hello! First and foremost the most Important thing is to complete your NCERT and to make your base very strong(Remember that always!) and then move on to these books for further practice. You can consider books:
PHYSICS
Concepts of Physics Vol I and II by HC Verma
Objective questions on physics by D.C. Pandey
MATHS:
Objective Mathematics by R D Sharma
Plane Trigonometry by S L Loney (best for trigonometry)
CHEMISTRY:
ncert is the most important book for chemistry.
For organic chemistry you can prefer INORGANIC CHEMISTRY by JD Lee.
All the very Best!
