According to the eligibility criteria of CDS, candidates must be 20 to 25 years of age and must be appearing in the final year of graduation or equivalent course or must have completed graduation/ bachelor's degree in Engineering. As per the prescribed CDS syllabus, there are three subjects -

Yes it is. In this mainly the focus area is ordinary differential equations, their order and degree. Formation of differential equations. Solution of differential equations by the method of separation of variables, solution of homogeneous and linear differential equations.

Whether a topic is easy or difficult varies from person to person. I would suggest you to please go through previous year papers of JEE and try to work them out. You'll get a fair idea of your strenghts and weakness and then start planning accordingly.
