Hello,
NITs do carry a good brand value hence placements will be better. And being a tier 1 college, professors are undoubtedly good, infrastructure and research opportunities are huge.
You will get to learn a few very interesting subjects related to electronics like optical systems, communication theory, laser technology, nanophotonics, biophotonics, etc.
After that, you can go for a Ph.D. and enter into the research field. There are better opportunities if you get selected in national-level research institutes like DRDO.
Or even you can get into the physics department in any good college for teaching.
Hope it helps!
