The syllabus taught in first year completely depends upon the college. In most oof the colleges, The subjects in first year mostly are ENgineering Mathematics, Computer 1 and 2( where they will teach a programming language mostly C , C++ or JAVA),Engineering Design( yes even for ECE students), mechanics.
