I completed 12th in 2018,then I took 2year drop and now I want to take admission in bsc under open university also want to prepare for SSC CGL. Will I be rejected in Document verification for 2 year drop and then distance graduation??

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 25th Dec, 2020
Hi

You don't need to worry at all because of your drop years and BSc from Open Universities.

This is because,

Your drop years will not be a problem in SSC CGL or any of the other examinations, also if you are doing your BSc from recognised Open University like IGNOU etc, then there is no problem as these recognised open universities are as valid as regular universities.

You can check SSC CGL eligibility criteria below

*You must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

So it doesn't matter at all even if you are doing your BSc from Open Universities what matters is it should be a recognised one.

*Minimum age limit :- you need to be at least 18 years old to be eligible

*Maximum age limit :- 32 years , also there's 3 year relaxation on upper age limit for obc and of 5 years for sc/st category

For detailed information related to SSC CGL eligibility criteria , you can visit our page at

I am from up and I have passed my 12th exam in 2018 if I cleared mh-cet exam 2021 then gap certificate is compulsory for taking admission

Ayush Pandey 25th Dec, 2020

Hello,

Yes,you will be required to give the gap certificate.Almost all the colleges demand for that.It can be made quite easily. It is just a declaration of the reason for a gap you took on an Rs.100/- non-judicial stamp paper. A gap certificate is used when a student skips a year of education and again wants to re-join in a university or in a college then he should apply for a gap certificate. A gap certificate contains the information of the student and the reason for a gap for which he breaks his education on that particular year.

if I failed in jee mains and boards 2018 can I give jee mains in 2021?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 24th Dec, 2020

While there is no upper age limit for appearing in JEE Mains, there is year of passing limit. For example, to appear for JEE Mains 2021, you should have completed your 12th either in 2019 or 2020. Those appearing for their 12th in 2020 or 2021 are also eligible for JEE Mains 2021. But if you have completed your 12th in 2018, unfortunately you are not eligible for JEE Mains 2021.

Sir maine 2018 me 12th pass kia hai 84% ke sath aur PCB me 88% hai. kya mujhe bsc hons.zoology me government college me admission mil skta hai. please suggest

pdwords Student Expert 31st Jan, 2021

Hello,

You haven't specifically mentioned which government college you're enquiring about, admission process varies among colleges if you're asking in terms of merit-based admission then that depends on the cut-offs, for example Delhi University has pretty high cut-offs and this also applies for humanities subject, also you should check out the criteria as there are few colleges which particularly mention that candidates passing out from definite years are only applicable, you can visit the official website to know the cut-offs for the previous years as it will give you an idea about the same, if you're interested you can also pursue higher studies through distance mode, as nowadays this option also works pretty well, you can also apply for government jobs or in case you want to for masters' in the future.
