i passed class 12th in 2018 and gave improvement in 2019, i know year of passing out is 2018 but if i give jee mains 2021 and score enough to get a seat in nits and in during counselling show only improvement marksheet of 2019, will i get admission ?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 20th Dec, 2020

Hi

No you are not eligible for filling JEE mains 2021 application form.

This is because,

You have passed your class 12th board examination in 2018 but One is eligible for giving JEE mains only for 3 consecutive years from the year of passing class 12th board examination so if you have passed in 2018 , you were eligible for JEE mains 2018 ,2019 and 2020 only and thus you are not eligible for JEE mains 2021

As

Eligibility criteria says that to be eligible  for JEE mains 2021 for BE or Btech you should be either appearing for 12th board exam or equivalent  in 2021 or should have passed it in 2020 or 2019 with Physics,  mathematics and anyone of Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology or Technical Vocational Subject.

Thus, you cannot get admission in NIT as you are not eligible for JEE mains 2021 and it doesn't matter even if you have given your improvement examination in 2019 as your passing year is 2018

Hi, I finished BBA in 2018 with 66% bharadhidasan sub college.10th 65% , 12th 65% no wirk experince.i want to do mba in finance in top business school in usa.what should i do to go there..it is possible.. or am i eligible to do mba in great lakes..

Nive 19th Dec, 2020

Hello, You need to have either GMAT/CAT/XAT/CMAT score to apply in Great lakes. Since your academic profile qualifies you for application but the competition can be unpredictable without your Management test score. Abroad universities requires a GMAT score and a language test score like TOEFL . Usually a higher CGPA of 7 or 8 is required by the top schools but you can still apply for some of the universities based on your language and GMAT score if you have scored in the top percentile then you have a chance in good universities. You can gain practical experience and improve your profile. To know more about the eligibility exams you can use these links

l forgot my seat number of board. I pass ssc 10th exam in 2018,19. from new kalwa high school. my name pranit berde so I want my seat number

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 18th Dec, 2020

Hey!

I think you are asking for seat number of your 10th board exam. Your seat number/ roll number of your board 10th exam must be mentioned on your 10th class marksheet. kindly check that.

And if you did not get that kindly contact your school authorities ,they will provide you with the soft copy of your hall ticket for board exams.

Thankyou

if someone has passed class 12th in 2018 and gives nios exam in 2021 , will he eligible for jee mains 2021?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 21st Dec, 2020

Sagar, unfortunately, the answer is No. If the first attempt is in 2018, then that is considered while 2021 will not be considered. Even if it is NIOS, 2021 is always an improvement and even if you change boards or whatsoever,  2018 will be the first attempt. And to qualify for JEE Mains 2021, Candidates who have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam in 2019, 2020 or those who will appear in 2021 are eligible. And the other criteria is that to qualify for JEE Mains, there is no minimum aggregate criteria. But if you want to join NITs, IIITs or CFTIs then you should score a minimum aggregate of 75% only in your 12th. 11th marks aren't considered. And then to appear for JEE Advanced which is the gateway for admission to IITs, you will need to fulfill the 75% aggregate condition. Now it is 75% for General Category and 65% for Reserved Categories. So how much you score in 12th is what matters to secure your eligibility for NITs, IIITs, CFTIs and JEE Advanced.

what should one fill in year of passing out if someone has passed class 12th in 2018 and appeared for improvement in 2019 , in forms like viteee, manipal exam, mhtcet, srmjee ?

Shrishty sahu 17th Dec, 2020
Dear student,
You have to write 2018 in all these forms. When the students had appeared for the first time for the board examination in talen into account and not the year he/she gave improvement examination. So in all these forms, they ask to fill when did you appear for 12th boards then you must write 2018 and at the time of document verification also you will not have any problem then.

You don't have a upper age limit. There are certain criteria but that is mostly related to the marks that you have secured in boards. Apart from this inorder to apply for these exams you must have born on or after 1st July 1999.

Yes, you are an eligible candidate to appear for these entrance exams. Greater the age higher is the priority generally.
