piyush singh 16th Apr, 2022

Hello student!!

In order to clear a banking exam you must have a positive mindset. I would like to tell you that a person never fails an exam either he passes the exam or learn from his mistakes. Since you have appeared for banking exams multiple times and know your mistakes i.e. you are weak in English.

I would suggest you to practice all the subjects side by side and focus more on English. Make a habit of reading English newspaper daily and try to learn new vocabularies everyday and practice mocks twice a week. Within two to three months you will see you are improving with every passing day and a day will come you will see yourself working in prestigious bank which you used to dream of!!!

Hope it helps!!

All the best for your preparation!

Sir I had done 12 with pcm in 2018 from cbse and then with pcb regular from up board in 2020 ,can I eligible for neet 2022 ? Plz reply sir...??

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 11th Apr, 2022

Hi

It doesn't matter even if you passed 12th with pcm in 2018 from cbse board.

Now that,

You have passed 12th from UP board with PCB in regular mode, yes, you are definitely eligible for NEET 2022 examination provided you fulfill its eligibility criteria given below:-

--------------------------) Qualification required :-As per Neet eligibility to be eligible for neet 2022 you must be either appearing for 12th board examination 2022 or should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English as core subject.

†††Important Note :- Students with Biology as an additional subject are also provisionally eligible for neet until Supreme Court gives its judgement over it.

-------------------------)  Percentage required :- You must get

  • at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in 12th examination if belongs to general category

  • at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to st/Obc/ Sc

  • at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.

If you fulfill this then you are definitely eligible

-------------------------)  Age limit :-

  • Lower age limit:- to be eligible for neet 2022  one has to be at least 17 years old  by 31st in the year of appearing for the examination i. e 31st December 2022 in case of neet 2022

-------------------------) There's no attempt limit for neet

For detailed information about neet examination eligibility go through our page for which link is provided below; -

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-eligibility-criteria

Now that,

limited time is left for neet 2022 , so you should be focusing on your preparation,

***** practising chapterwise questions

***** then revising the chapters,

***** solve at least previous 10 year neet question papers as concept behind the question often gets repeated in the examination so it will be of great help in your preparation  ,

***** go through neet mock test papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination.

To help you in cracking neet, we have neet crash course for you, the link for the same is given below :-

Hi, I passed 12th in 2014. Then started B.Tech in 2014 & completed in 2018. Since 2014, I have attempted NEET 7 times and have been filling the Qualifying exam Code as 02 in NEET application form. Should I still fill my qualifying exam code as 02 for NEET 2022 ?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 10th Apr, 2022

Hi

You need to choose the code 02 while filling neet 2022 application form

This is because,

Though you are have completed btech, your highest qualification with all the three subjects i. e physics chemistry and Biology/biotechnology remains your 10+2

While, those who have completed BSc with at least any two of physics chemistry and Biology in their bsc need to select code 6.

It doesn't matter at all even if you appeared in neet examination 7 times, because neither your qualification code nor eligibility for neet depends upon your number of neet attempts so nothing to worry.

Here's a short brief of Neet codes :-

-----------------------------) Code 1 :- code 1 is for class 12th board 2022 examination appearing students with physics, chemistry, biology and English or have have already appeared but results are awaited i. e have not been declared.

-----------------------------) Code 2 :- code 2 is for all those who have passed their 10+2/higher /senior secondary/ Indian School Certificate Examination with physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology and English

-----------------------------) Code 3 :- code 3 says it is for those passed their intermediate / pre- degree examination  with physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology and English ,your physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology should also contain practical exam.

-----------------------------) Code 4 :- pre - medical degree with Physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology after passing hsc i. e 10+2 or puc or equivalent.

-----------------------------) Code 5 :- code 5 is for all those who have passed  1 st year 3 year graduation with all the three of  Physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology

-----------------------------) Code 6 :- code 6 is for all those students who have passed  BSc  with at least any two of following subjects :-

>>>>Physics,

>>>>chemistry ,

>>>>biology/biotechnology

-----------------------------) Code 7 :- code 7 is for those who have passed their examination from foreign board which is equivalent of Indian 10+2 board.

My 12 bihar boards result is 362/500, My result are below 75% but i am in josaa top 20% according to the previous year (2017, 2018 ,2019) top 20% trends of bihar board, Should i prepare for jee main 2023 to get admission in nit/iits??

Anurag Khanna 6th Apr, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

See even if you have not secured 75% marks but however if you are able to secure your position in top 20 percentile of your respective board's result as per the criteria of JOSAA-2023 then you will be eligible to get admission in NITs/IIITs/ CFTIs through your your JEE-Main 2023 score and also note that at this point of time It is quite difficult to say anything very sure for next year because till now no information has been released for JEE-Main 2023 but this year d efinitely you can get admission into aforesaid institutions on the basis of your JEE-Main or JEE-Advance score even if you don't have 75% in class 12th because 75% criteria has been lifted off for this year as well so now you need to just pass in all the subjects prescribed in class 12th.

can one start preparations for rbi grade b examinations from first year of commerce...if yes what one should refer...what would be the syllabus for the same ..As examination of rbi grade b exam is after graduation...how is exam pattern n all?PLZZ inform??

pdwords Student Expert 4th Apr, 2022

Hello,

RBI Grade B Exam is conducted in three stages:

Phase I consists of four sections such as

  • General Awareness for 80 marks,
  • Reasoning for 60 marks,
  • Quantitative Aptitude for 30 marks, and
  • English Language for 30 marks.

Recommended Books:

Quantitative Aptitude; Refer How to prepare for Quantitative Aptitude by Arun Sharma, the level of questions are very high comparatively to management exams, it'll provide you a good grasp over all the topics.

English Language; Refer Wren and Martin for grammar, for vocabulary use Norman Lewis's 'Word Power Made Easy', for practice purpose you can use Objective General English by SP Bakshi.

Reasoning; Refer Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning by MK Pandey or Analytical Reasoning by MK Pandey.

General Awareness; To  cover this section read two newspaper on a daily basis such as The Hindu and any business paper such as The Economic Times, The Mint, The Business Standard,  you can also read magazines like Pratiyogita Darpan, there are many competitive exam sites which offer monthly compilations which  you can refer as well, however newspaper reading is the best option regarding this,

Phase II consists of three papers such as

Economics and Social Issues (objective type),  English Skills for Descriptive Writing , and Finance & Management.

Each section consists of 100 marks and for a 90 minutes duration.

Recommended Books:

Refer Indian Economy by Ramesh Singh or by authors such as Uma Kapila, Mishra Puri to cover section of economy, Sociology book by CN Shankar Rao,use magazines like Yojana, The Economics and Political Weekly, RBI Bulletins, reports of World Development Forum and Economy Survey of India, for Financial Management you can use Prasanna Chandra:Theory and Practice.

Also, go through sample papers which you can easily find at the websites exclusively for banking preparation, speed and precision matters the most in banking exam, and practice, practice, and practice is of utmost requirement, also prior to exam you have to apply mock tests on regular basis to assess your preparation level.

See, if you're in first year then you can steadily do the preparation, make a habit of reading newspapers especially focusing on the banking/business aspects, and reasoning and quant section requires much practice, hence you can start off in consistent manner, however there are still three more years to go and you have to sustain your interest, don't try to overdo anything, from third year itself you can speed up the preparation, if you begin with consistent steps, then you can grasp your basics in quant and reasoning, and move towards the higher level, make small efforts but in steady manner, as I said don't try to do everything at once, go through sample papers to analyze where you stand in terms of your understanding of the topics, and how well and at what speed are you able to do it.
