i didnt attend agri practical exam and board and kcet combined for pcb i get nearly 77 can i get agriculture seat under kcet

If you did not attend the agriculture practical exam, you will not be eligible for the agriculture quota seats under KCET. The agriculture practical exam is mandatory for claiming seats under the agriculture quota .

However, since your KCET score combined with board marks for PCB is around 77, you may still have a chance for general quota agriculture seats, but chances are low because cutoffs for agriculture courses are usually high.

Admission depends on:

Category and reservation status
Number of applicants
Availability of seats in participating colleges

i have 170 cut off mark.can i join any tamilnadu government agriculture college

Qualification for agriculture science

Depending on whether you want to study at the UG, PG or PhD level, the criteria for Agricultural Science in India differ for each program.

College Courses in Agriculture (B.Sc. Agriculture / B.Tech Agriculture)

The candidate should have passed 10+2 from a genuine board with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics (PCMB/PCB/PCM/Agriculture).

For the General category, students must gain a minimum of 50%–60% marks and for SC/ST/OBC, the mark requirement is reduced by 5%.

Entrance Exams:

All India undergraduate (undergraduate entrance test administered by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research)

Tests that are conducted on the state level such as TS EAMCET, AP EAMCET, MHT CET, KEAM and so on.

M.Sc. Agriculture; the SGS invested in six such courses offered in six universities.

The professional must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or a similar subject.

To be considered, students must pass the ICAR AIEEA PG or the exams conducted by universities and states.

PhD in Agricultural Sciences

The candidate must have a PG degree in agriculture (M.Sc. Agri).

To join places like IARI, TNAU or ICAR institutes, you must pass an entrance test and an interview.
