Infrastructure should be improved completely. But it is not the same. Just for show off. My course is not recognized for all India entrance exam too. The courses offered here have no placement or recognition. I expected more of practical knowledge which I didn't get. Some professors do not know the basics.

I am first-year students and my first impression of the university was completely positive. The infrastructure is absolutely amazing and the atmosphere seemed completely wonderful. Now that I am a student in this prestigious university I have got a more open view of the university. I give you a hands-on experience in all the subject and there are well-experienced professors as well. Since it is a university the research projects are always their priority but they do make time for the students. The hostel is like a government hostel the facilities are not that great but manageable.

TNAU is one of the best agricultural universities in India. The life at TNAU is as green as the campus and here we live in oneness with nature. The college has wifi enabled smart classrooms with state of art facilities. The main building is the icon of Coimbatore. The faculty members are highly qualified well trained and inspiring. The college has a very large playground with separate basketball court and an indoor shuttle court and swimming pool. There are various cultural festivals and separate department functions that take place in a grand manner. The hostel in TNAU is well equipped wifi enabled accommodating nearly 98% of the students. The college has a Social service league that helps many school students with their studies. Thre are lot of industrial visits which are a part of the academic curriculum and TNAU is the only college that offers the "ALL INDIA TOUR"

Place to study without distraction

Posted on 15 Jul' 15 by Jerina Priya
" College's infrastructure is not as good as the main campus (TNAU,COIMBATORE). But, labs are maintained in a good condition &all sufficient equipments are available to learn practically. Placements are totally based on student's talent & hardwork. Interviews also held in 4th yr. Students are guided to prepare & face the ICAR exams held by Indian Council of Agricultural Research. Library facilities are perfect. Sports facilities are better.College is situated in the village so we can STUDY WITHOUT ANY DISTRACTION!"

can i go to foreign countries for job , if i have completed bsc agriculture in TNAU ?

rishabh5978@gmail.com 24th Nov, 2019
Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that in order to get a job abroad, you need to have minimum two years work experience in your respective field. After immediately completing your bachelors, there are very chances of getting a direct job abroad as employers evaluates your whole profile. So, you should focus on getting a good job in India first and gain experience out of it.

I hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future.

icar cuttoff for bsc. forestry

Aditi Amrendra Student Expert 20th Nov, 2019

In order to peruse B.Sc Forestry thorough ICARs AIEEA UG Entrance Exam you will have to score above 400 if you are from General Category.
Though cutoff may vary because it depends in other factors like difficulty of papers, number of students appeared etc.

I hope this helps.

Is jee main mark is needed for agriculture engineering to join in TNAU?

Sonali Sahu Student Expert 3rd Nov, 2019
It depends on the college what entrance exam it considers. If the college accepts any other entrance like state entrance for admission then you can appear for it and take an admission.
It's not mandatory you have to appear jee mains only. For any branch from engineering you have to appear an entrance exam. If you don't want to appear national entrance exam i.e. JEE then you can appear for state entrance exam. If you want to give any entrance of other states you will go under open category. For that the cutoff rank is really low.
So make a through research where you want to join and what exams you can give to get an admission.
Hope it helps you!
