I think if u r good enough in coding then opt for some offcampus placements and learn python.
If you are a average scorer then prepare well for gate.
Graphics is optional. Its nowhere required as of in placements...You can learn it for ur hobby..

Hello there .
This question has all it's answer in your interest .
I would say if gaming (game devolvement) excites you and that's what you love to do ,then there is nothing better than it .
Whereas, IIT is more of a professional course . Ofcourse it gives you some good placement security ,if you manage to crack a good college . And yes, the pay can be at tines higher than gaming .
But see it like this ,if you're passionate about gaming ,then nothing can stop you from getting succeed here .
So it would be foolish to go for the one that's not your interest .
Last choice would be yours . Choose the one that makes you happy .

Hello Hardik,

No, not necessarily. Nowadays a lot of game designing is done thru software, so it would help more if you knew animation and coding. An aesthetic sense will always help, though.

Moreover, there are other functions in game design apart from set design. You could create storyboard/music too, requiring no painting skills.

Bsc animation or BCA ?

Hello

If you do not have maths in class 12th then you can opt in for BSc or BA Animation as it does not require maths to be a compulsory subject for you in class 11 and 12.The entrance exams for the same does not require maths as well as it is basically about drawing/sketching.
