hi,

see it can not possible to do two ug courses simultaneously, but you may appear in both jee main paper 1 and paper 2 exams. civil engineering is mixed of design technique and software used in architecture, structural designing, material science etc. you may go for post graduate in architectural design after completing b.e/b/tech in civil engineering.

You are a student of 4th year of b.arch course as there are good placements if you complete your course in top colleges as well as in NITs and IITs and based on merit also you can get good placements with good pacakage per year and you are eligible to navy,army and airforceafter completion of this course as you should have 50percent of the aggregate  marks in this course also so that you are eligible for this and you should have certificates of this course also and to get into army,navy and airforce you haveto attempt government entrance examinations for this and based on that merit you can get jobs and entrance examination will be in the chooses only so choose the right choice and all the best for your future and i think my suggestions and knowledge may be helpful to you.

B.Arch is a 5 year course divided into 10 semesters. There are more than 20 subjects that are covered in these 5 years. However, thw most important ones would be Architectural Design, Visual Arts and Basic Design, Building and Construction, Design Methodology, History of Architecture, Computer Applications, Working Drawings, Theory of Structures, etc. While the core syllabus remains the same, the topics covered depend on the curriculum of the University.

B.Arch is a Professional Under Graduate Course designed for practising Architecture. This is a 5 year full time course which teaches the art of planning, designing and constructing Physical structures of various kinds. The most important ebtrance examinations for studying B.Arch are NATA and AAT. A Graduate in B.Arch is called an Architect.  An Architect is involved in every Stage of a construction project from ideating to mapping and overseeing a construction. Once you complete B.Arch, you can try for jobs such as Project Architect, Architect Designer, Inyerior Designer, Urban Planner, etc.

Hello,

Yes, to purse Architecture in undergraduation level you must have studied Mathemactics and Physics as compulsory subjects in 10+2 and you must have passed in 10+2 from a recognized board or university.The minimum oercentage requirement will be different depending on the exam or college you are applying for.

TheNATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) is the national level entrance test, which is regulated by the Council of Architecture. This test is conducted to analyze the candidates drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability related to architecture.

  • Practice previous year Question Paper
  • Prepare Good Timetable
  • Consult with Teachers
  • Practice on mock tests.
  • Prepare short notes and keep referring to those while preparing.
  • Take sufficient rest in order to avoid stress.

Hi student,

If an architect is employed as an employee i.e. he is doing a job than his starting salary is INR 52,000 in India.

If an architect is working on a freelance basis then, the income can't be anticipated as it be as low as INR 3000 per project and as high as INR 25,000 per project.

what is b architect and b tech?

Dear Aspirant,

Both of these are Bachelor courses in Engineering. One is Bachelor of Architect, and the other is Bachelor of Technology.

B.Arch, is a bachelor course in Architect, and involves with things like designing, managing aesthetics in construction, etc. Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) is a 5 year full-time duration programme. It is comprised of 10 semesters.

B.tech is a more diverse course with various streams like Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical, Information Technology, etc. B.TECH consist various domains and you can do specialization in any of these available trades/streams.  BTECH is a 4 year course with 8 semesters.
