What to choose among IIT Kharagpur Ocean engineering and naval architect or NIT Trichy ECE? I am concerned more of overall development and then placement.

Akshita Gupta 14th Oct, 2020

I suggest you to go for NIT Trichy as it is one of the top NIT'S which is equally comparable to IIT'S and to choose ECE branch will be better for your future. If i say in terms of placements you will get easily with good amount of effort. But overall professors are nice and whether you are in any college professors are only guide you what matters is you self study to prepare yourself for the industry.

Ocean engineering and naval architect i don't think there is much scope even in IIT'S. IF You have other options like already you have NIT Trichy ECE go for that. it will surely help you in future!

best of luck!

MNIT, Jaipur MNIT, Bhopal IIEST,shibpur NIT,Raipur NIT, Hamirpur How r these colleges in b. arch course plz tell me, Arrrange theis college according to best ?

Apurvi Tiwari 14th Oct, 2020

Hi Kunal ,

Basically you have mentioned four colleges :-

  1. Malaviya National Institute Of Technology ,Bhopal
  2. Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology , Shibpur
  3. National Institute of Technology ,Raipur
  4. National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur

If I go by NIRF ranking 2020 for architecture then IIEST is best as it secure rank 6th in the country. NIT Hamirpur secure 19th position . MNIT is also good but of Rajasthan not of Bhopal .

Other than these three colleges , rest of all not worth for your money and time.

For B.Arch you need a good exposure so choose wisely an ACTIVE college .

I hope this helps you.

who is called destructive architect it was asked in NATA 2020

Souhardya Goswami 30th Aug, 2020

Hello aspirant.

Deconstructivism is a movement of postmodern architecture  which appeared in the 1980s. It gives the impression of the fragmentation of the constructed building. It is characterized by an absence of harmony, continuity, or symmetry. Its name comes from the idea of " Deconstruction  ", a form of semiotic  analysis developed by the French philosopher Jacques Derrida .

You may call deconstructivism as destructive architechture.

Hope this will help you.

I got 91.8 percentile in JEE PAPER 2, my CRL Rank is 12207 and 612 SC category Rank which B.ARCH college I will get.

aawezk11 22nd Sep, 2020
Hello,

As per previous year's cutoff and your JEE Main paper 2 rank in SC category you'll be eligible for some top colleges. I'll recommend you to definitely apply for your home state NIT because you'll have a higher chance of getting admission there since the cutoff is lower for home states.
For more further details about the cutoff for B.Arch please refer to the link below :-
