Astronomer
Hey there!
Space courses are quite tricky because there are not a lot of job opportunities in the big leagues. If you study from a really good institute then only you'll earn a lot of money in that field. Other than that you can also do reasearch work in universities after completion of your course that also offers a decent pay.
Hi Praveen,
The average salary of an astronomer in Tamil Nadu is INR 50,000 per month. While the minimum salary is around INR 30,000 per month and maximum salary of an aerospace engineer in Tamil Nadu is around INR 8,00,000 or much more depending upon higher qualification and experience.

Hey!
The minimum requirement for an astronaut is bachelor's degree in any of the courses for example engineering, biological science, physical science, or mathematics etc. You have to work super hard for becoming astronaut at NASA as the competition is the toughest. And to be selected as an astronaut there are several physical parameters, one has to qualify ,which are essentially required so you have to focus on those aspects as well.
For becoming an astronaut you can pursue any bachelor's degree but as you are from MPC stream you can go for B.tech in the related field or B.Sc. honors/major in Physics with Mathematics as a secondary subject and in future you will be able to choose the major field like Astrophysics,Astronomy etc.
Hope this helps

Dear Aspirants ,
we are really sorry to say that we are unable to share accurate salary of astronaut because we all know the fact of salary depends upon lots of factors such as experience ,employer ,skills ,designation and how you will crack your interview .
If we go through the the minimum then it will starts from 7-8 lpa to 14-15 lpa but this figure will increase after gain experience and as per your designation .Employments are is little bit slow because only few employers are hire but its not mean they are not hiring but they are not hiring in bulk amount ,so you should give some extra effort for that .
Hope it will helpful
thanks
Hello Praveen!
Astronomy is a great field of research! Astronomers can earn very well. But it is the result of sheer hard work of an astronomy enthusiast having a strong background in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, and then a university degree in Maths, Physics, Engineering followed by Ph.D. in Astronomy or Astrophysics.
Astronomers are scientists and they work in a research institute or university. Hence, they are government employee and get paid as per the pay commission. Scientist/Engineer salary in ISRO is in the Pay Band 15600-39100 which comes in hand about 55k including allowances and can also be more than that depending on your posting.
Hope this helps:)
All the best!
