i belong to general category. how much mark should i get to get into a govt ayurveda college ? how does ews certificate help in getting better college

mjaisinghani62 25th Feb, 2024

Hello aspirant

Being a general category candidate you must score 400+ marks in Neet ug For getting a BAMS seat in government college . Though there is tough competition,  it also depends upon neet cut off 2024 . Cut off neet ug depends upon number of students appearing in exam, previous year's cut off,  difficulty level of exam, normalisation method etc .

EWS certificate will help you to get better college as there is provision of 10% quota for EWS candidates .

You must have EWS certificate and upload at the time of neet application firm registration .

Im from SC category, and I want to take admission in Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya Sion. Can I know how much marks will I require in NEET UG for it ???

satyamercedes0626 26th Jan, 2024

Hello,

Hope you are doing well.

According to the previous cut offs for the Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya Sion, Mumbai, you need to get a rank in between 88k and 1 lakh. These are the cut off ranks for general category students, for the years 2021 and 2022.

Remember that cutoffs change from year to year and you can get a seat, basing upon various factors such as gender, category etc.,. SO try to score marks between 300 to 400.

Hope this helps.

Correct Answer: Both assertion and reason are correct, and the reason is the correct explanation of the assertion.

Solution : The correct answer is (a) Both assertion and reason are correct, and the reason is the correct explanation of the assertion.

The assertion states that AYUSH systems of medicine, such as Ayurveda and Yoga, are recognized as complementary to allopathic medicine, which is correct. AYUSH stands for Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy. These systems of medicine are recognized and practiced in many countries, including India, as complementary to allopathic medicine. They are often integrated into healthcare systems to provide additional holistic healthcare options to patients.

The reason provided states that AYUSH systems have their unique principles and practices, which provide holistic healthcare options, and this is the correct explanation of the assertion. AYUSH systems of medicine have their own set of principles, philosophies, and practices that focus on holistic health and well-being. They emphasize natural remedies, lifestyle modifications, and preventive measures to maintain health and treat diseases. By offering a holistic approach, AYUSH systems complement allopathic medicine, which primarily focuses on disease management using pharmaceuticals and surgeries.

Therefore, both the assertion and reason are correct, and the reason serves as the correct explanation for why AYUSH systems of medicine are recognized as complementary to allopathic medicine.
